Returned to PVP tonight with some friends for the first time in probably about six months, maybe more. A zerg were spamming staff abilities on top of a flag, seriously I couldn't get a single one of my skills to work. I had to keep hitting esc, which would let me get off about three hits, before everything would lock up again. In the end we all gave up entirely.

Is this what it's like in PVP all the time now? If so, how do you guys put up with it? And how have ZOS let it get this bad?

Just to add - it was Haderus on the EU server.

    Asking mmo players not to take the path of least resistance, yep that's guaranteed to work :wink:

    Seriously though. This game is billed as being epicPVP matches involving hundreds. We've spent a year in subscriptions at this point. Can we, for the love of god, get a solid permanent handle on the poor quality of the PVP atm!

    Also I suspect that the removal of AOE caps has only exacerbated the issue and encourage more staff spam.

    That would be totally awesome, but I reckon some people would level agent provocateur alts in enemy campaigns.

    Yea, but you could penalize the player if he attacks too many friendlies within a specified time limit. Maybe suspend the player from the campaign for 48 hours.

    Think its bad now well with patch 2.2.2 ZOS opened up the door to make it worse by increasing XP gain in Cyrodiil. Now players will flock to Cyrodiil to take advantage of it.

    Yeah, the occasional 'whoops' is one thing, but do it too much and get courtmarshalled or even marked for the saboteur you are.
    Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

    Earn it.

    IRL'ing for a while for assorted reasons, in forum, and in game.
    I am neither warm, nor fuzzy...
    Probably has checkbox on Customer Service profile that say High Aggro, 99% immunity to BS
