Why is there no jewellery crafting in game?

Just curious, that's all.

    ... :(

Some of the Psijic testers might be able to clarify, but from what I know, there was jewelry crafting in the very early betas. It got dropped early, though. And I don't know the details for why exactly. My understanding is, it's been on the, "we'll bring it back someday" table ever since... but... we're almost a year in with the game and no sign of its return.

Many want to craft jewelry, but sadly... don't hold your breathe Op. :/

Would be great to see this make a comeback.

I think I remember reading something about it would be difficult to balance as you could easily make OP set bonuses.
I do hope they get it worked out someday, tho.

The way Z has restructured some set bonuses and made out the star chart, they should bring it back. And we need it to be on par with dropped sets which do include jewels. Now is a good time, Z!

I wouldn't mind seeing it come in at some point, but jewelry in its current state would be dead boring to craft. You'd basically just be choosing whether it's +magicka, +stamina, or +health, because the other attribute is determined by enchanting.

Sure, but it would give me something else to do with tons of excess metal and gems...

I think it would make for some more creative builds to add Jewelry crafting. Sure there would only be "base" type stats like Health, Stamina, Magicka..But the real power would be in set bonuses. I would say to lump it in with Enchanting. Then we would finally have enchanting tables at the set crafting stations

I imagine if ZOS showed their community everything they are working on for this game or have an idea about implementing into this game people would loose their minds. I didn't get in on beta but have been playing consistently since launch and the content that has been added thus far is amazing, so I say just play what you already have and give the developers some time to deliver more.

I just think there should be a place you can decon jewelery to get the pieces to upgrade other jewelry. Not necessarily craft jewelry right now, but something up upgrade a blue into a purple and then a yellow would be nice.

I'd still like it so that I can get rings and necklaces of the exact level that I want with the attribute that I want, and upgraded to purple or gold if I want.

seems like it would be an easy system to implement. use the enchanting template and add 5 precious metals. I would like to see the precious stones for traits utilized for it. Boom. Done. Right?

It's simple they could turn off any bonus Jewellery gives in PVP to make even playing field.
Like they currently do for other things in PVP, and PVE.
ZOS reduced the time P Ambrosia lasted for from 2 hours to 30 min so doing a long quest you have to keep remembering to use another one. A bit hard to remember as no warning or countdown advises you effect has worn off.

The fact that drops for decent Jewellery is low, the inability to craft it is annoying and why I stopped paying sub every month, I will NOT pay any more, nor buying DLC's or anything else until ZOS bring Jewellery crafting online.

I put a new glyph onto a Jewellery item sometimes, sometimes it works others not.

Give beta testers a taste then take it away, then add further insult be not being open and honest about if or committing to a time when it will be implemented.

People saying Soon, In progress, Put on the back burner, etc is not good enough, bringing out new DLC's and making runs with large groups etc to smoke screen things that should have been implemented in the game from the start I feel is an insult to the players whom loved the elder scrolls games and continue to play, like others they will loose interest and leave.

Friends of mine and a lot of others I used to know in game have left due to bugs and not being able to craft Jewellery
I've even tried to offer incentives to come back yet reply is now no longer interested in ESO.

They have all not even finished the main quest line.
A guild-master earlier today put a ring into his bank obviously a lvl 16 and useful (Current price of that ring 90,000 by Master Merchant add on.) however item vanished not in bank.

He can not craft one and may never get compensation or replaced for the loss unless ZOS have a way of fixing this.
I have had items like Potent Nirncrux, and Kuta from harvest nodes and they were not in inventory despite re logging, exiting game, shutting down client and re running game.

ZOS are going to implement some possibly great features, for subscribers, like unlimited storage for crafting mats.
I see this as a further insult as still no Jewellery crafting mentioned.

So I will forgo the extras and the propaganda about new DLC's when ZOS decide to implement this crafting ability I may have a happier outlook at parting with money to keep playing and expanding this game.

The only thing keeping me going is to help and support other players, and my guilds, but I'm fast loosing hope, and enthusiasm to continue playing this game.

I use FTC, but there are a couple other buff trackers available, to tell you how much time is left on your food and potions.
