vr10 potions?

have been thinking for a while about this, why has this game only up to vr5 potions, when we now have vr10 food/drinks recipes?

I would never pay crowns for consumables

mounts, pets, costumes yes, but never something that last 1-40 secs

I doubt they will do them. Officially they want to get rid of VR system, so I would not hold my breath here... Would be nice though

vovus69, I seriously doubt now with the champion system in place, that vr levels will ever go away, due to it first starts at vr1

so I actually wont hold my breath on that either

That would be great I really enjoy VR system - it is so quiet and nice wrt general zones. I would prefer that they make VR50 or so levels with solo content - perhaps Murkmir or some other new areas? Will see. But if they do - they definitely will make this go far more that VR5 Of course, top priority for me would be spellcrafting, but potions and jewerly making is close second and third

With all the changes to the initial plans for the champion system I am getting skeptical when or if they remove the stupid VR system...

But getting back to OP point, it does seem an oversight to have VR10 recipes but not potions. Of course, provisioning got a major overhaul, while nothing was done for alchemy. I hope they add new potions later, or scale VR5 potions. But I also would never buy them from Crown Store if offered. It would be a ballsy move for them to be offered, considering the reactions to the one stat potions initially offered in Crown Store that were better than VR5. They backed those out in a hurry.

did read long ago I think, or it might have been a dream. Somewhere they talked about alcamey needing a overhaul as well.
since many are useless still and now with the numbers of our health and such gone way up, there are little use for them now.

since patch its rarely I use any of the current potions, maybe spell crit potions and tripots for vDSA and SO, but thats about it

Given they yanked the crown potions because those were scaling to Vet 14... probably not.

I do hope they eventually do a complete rehaul of the Alchemy system, including adding VR10 potions, finally implenting weapon poisons, and a few other items like Fire/Cold/Shock resist pots, etc. Actually, the entire crafting system needs some love but I doubt ESO has that as a priority

You actually believe that will happen within the next year, especially after including the VR ranks to the console users? I might believe they will eventually remove VR ranks, but I have no reason to believe it will happen soon. So until then, they could offer VR10 potions and other changes to Alchemy to improve the craft.
