This has been bugging me since launch . Is there no way to send a /tell to another player without the radial menu and or knowing their @ address ? I can't figure out how to send a tell from far away by using a characters name to this day . Is it just not possible and if so why ? If it is what am I doing wrong ?

I think it's possible if player logged with character you want to /tell. Need to check tho.

I agree that the whisper/tell system needs a fair amount of work.

To send a tell to a specific person using their character's name, type "/t character's full name", followed by the text you wish to send.

To send a whisper to a specific person using their character's name, type "/w character's full name", followed by the text you wish to send.

Please note that you must type the character's full name, and it must be followed by a comma.

    Hope this helps.

Also there doesn't seem to be a /r to reply feature . If I get multiple tells from people , I have to scroll up and find their tell , right click and select whisper again .

There is only reply to last personal message.

There is a reply feature, but it's limited to the last person who sent you a tell.

So if you get multiple tells from different individuals, your /r will only respond to the last tell you received.

But you gotta add a comma with the /R ? Because I end up with some embarrassing miss tells in zone that start with the letter R and gave up ..

You can also bind a key in control settings to reply to last tell instead of /r.

But if you're getting multiple tells, the only thing that might help is to create a window for just tells so you can keep track.
