"full leather" articles

I got certified to be a clothier and woodworker because i know how to do both well, or I thought I did. I'm trying craft a "full leather" helmet, cops, and gauntlets. However, when I craft leather it's a plain leather helmet so it doesn't count. I've googled "full leather" helmet, etc and found nothing. What do I need to do to craft "full leather" articles of clothing and complete this task??

Full leather is level 38-46 materials I believe. Rank 4 clothing.

I think the material is called "Hide"

Full Leather is supose to look like real leather, what i see in eso is nothing like leather at all, and it all looks like metal works and is not my taste, i prefer Leather "real leather"!
especially on a dark brotherhood member!
that brings me to my point as i do agree with the open post saying here that there is not found Real full Leather armor sets to iether be made or found ....
i have seen the upcoming dark brotherhood armor and also the upcoming thieves guild armor and niether one looks like leather!
angers and upsets me because in morrowind we could find all kinds of leather armor that actually LOOKED like leather.
i hope we get a developer responce to this thread.

Hide is before leather. Then after leather I think it's thick leather? I don't know...

No such thing as "Full Leather". There is Leather, Thick Leather, and Fell Hide for armors from L26 to L50.

Scroll down about 3/4 of the way

Note, this is a great site to see what things look like before you make them. So, book mark it.

Under the quest for "clothier writ" it says: " tasks- craft full-leather helmet 0/2" And same with arm cops and bracers. I didn't think there was such a thing as full leather either but I'm looking right at it...

Sometimes description of materials and description of armor parts are not equal. Look what you get from "leather", "fell hide" and so on. Just move cursor on picture of armor part and read..

I remember seeing Full Leather in the early part of the game. I think it was sometime in the beta when the change was made. Was not doing bunch of crafting in the beta. Comes as an alternative to split leather, which is just that, a piece of full leather split in half to two thinner pieces. Think the difference between the leather you would use for pants vs the leather you would use for say a Saddle.

    So, Thick = Full

I figured out that full leather is created by thick leather. The writs go by skill level and I just got to the level to use thick leather before I went MIA for a whole. Thanks for your help everyone!
