Launcher with error code 210...

Help, help, help.
I'm so not a tech wiz.
I bought the game, hard-copy, installed it, downloaded patches and updates, and played awesomely!
Next day I wanna do the same, and i hit the launcher to boot up the game... and error code 210... I oogle around for a solution and get "Try running it as admin" and this works... Only.. half my addons won't show...
And.. It still won't launch the launcher, unless I run it as admin.

So... Repair doesn't, redownloading the game doesn't. (I can run it (without half my addons) as admin - but it'd be nice to be able to run it normally)
Can I please have some help?

We invite you to only run the game and Launcher in Administrator mode.
Regarding your Add-Ons, could you please check you ticked the "enable obsolete/perempted Add-Ons"? Also, your Add-Ons could be out of date with our latest API update. It could be interesting to check if those are up to date.

It will only let me play if I run it in admin mode...

I downloaded all of them, again, last night, they should be up to date, but in the game they're stood as out of date.
I have ticked the box "Show out-of-date add-ons".

Lending this thread a bit..

Was having the same 210 error issue every time i launched the launcher. Re-instaling it fixed it temporarily, but the very next time when starting he launcher, the error happened again. The launcher was very unresponsive too, and loaded very sluggishly. Every click had a several second delay, and "play" button never appeared. "repair" button did, but resulted in the same 210 error.

Changin the shortcut to launch it in administrator mode fixed it, now everything works smooth.

Amazing that nobody pointed this out during the previous days with all the error 210 problems. It now seems to run smooth for me too. Thanks for this!

I had launched it in admin mode previously but at times launcher still had problems. However, unless I ticked the 'run as admin' box in the shortcut, I would eventually forget to do it and so there were some extra problems.

edit: Haha, the launcher still claims error 210 cannot download patch manifest - AFTER I quit the game. This after I ticked the admin mode box in the shortcut. I can play fine but this launcher is being really really persistent with the error message ;D

Both I and my girlfriend get error 210 in our launchers. It's clearly not the client install that's corrupted, but something server side that doesn't match up with what our client's expect to "see" in the connection protocol.

Not playing until this is fixed. Not going to do "repair" when I know nothing in my install is corrupted.

Run as admin would help, but for short time. Same problem with or without addons. Manual download PatchingManifest not help too.

I've been having this problem.

When I initially downloaded the patch manifest file, it seemed to work, but then it stopped working again the next day.

I then ran the game with elevated privileges the other day, this seemed to work for a little while.

However, I attempted to run the program again today, and had no luck with running the launcher as an administrator or downloading the patch manifest file.

And now the game seems to have deleted itself and is downloading everything again...

Oh well. :-(

Same error but starting and closing luncher until getting the play option helped here. I m running it in my normal user contend that got plenty rights for the install directory.
However this must be fixed!

Same issue for me. I tried reinstalling the game numerous times. But never get far with the install, little over 60% and then 201 again and again and again.
