Nightmare Courser Armor?

Seen a person on Nightmare Courser that had sweet looking armor for it. Is it something you get automatically as you progress in the game?

    Probably just stamina armor, equivalent to bags for carrying capacity and straps for speed. Nobody ever knows what it is because nobody trained horses for stamina. :p

    It's for getting 20 points in Stamina. I saw it briefly on my Nigthblade, but I wasn't paying much attention. It looks like the same armor that normal horses get at 20 Stam.

    Well, how dose somebody get this armor then when the horse has only been out for a short amount of time? Takes a long time to build up your horses stats by feeding them. This person could not have had this armor so soon from feeding horse. So, it has to be some other way. I noticed this person was VR14. Maybe that has something to do with it?

    I have trained stamina on one of my alts. It helps preventing getting knocked off.

    When everyone transitioned each character got the highest stats in each area that they had for speed, stamina, and bags. So I automatically had armor for several of my characters because I had it previously. So for a new character you are correct, but for established characters no, you can already have armor.

    ...You no longer feed them ( I know, animal cruelty. :tongue: ), you simply improve each individual character's "Riding Skill". ^^'

    Only reason my main has 39 Stamina riding skill (soon to be 40, once I can access my laptop computer) is because Speed and Capacity are maxed out at 60. Yes, my mounts run hella fast! XD

    If you are in AD maybe it was me you saw?!! :grin: Or someone else of course I have seen a few others with it. Luckily, on all 8 of my characters I fed the horses so that both the speed straps and stamina armor show.

    I also had other horses... for example pack horses for when I would go out farming, harvesting, etc... sooo I don't have too far to go in maxing out all of my horse stats with the new system across my characters! :grin:

    You don't train up individual horses any more, you simply improve the characters riding skills and the bonuses are applied to every horse they use.

    This is why you'll see topics on the forum complaining about the saddlebags - apparently a lot of people don't like how they look so they'd train up carry capacity on one horse and then normally use another one. Now the bags appear on all their horses.

    Did you catch the name of any of the characters riding a Nightmare Courser with armor on it? My main (who is, yes, AD. For the Queen!) goes by the name of Aerius Sygale. :3

    OK, I have speed capped on several of my other toons so I should see the saddle on my level 1 character?

    No unless that character has leveled up speed. The skill is not on the horse but on the character. So your level 1 will have to level that skill.

    OK, I get it now. A person that has got speed capped on his 1st horse will now have it on all the horses he has.
