Is anyone else holding off on playing the game until the console version comes out?

Despite being a subscriber since launch, I haven't really played at all since around November or so. I am actually genuinely excited for the console release, I just don't like playing on my laptop because it takes forever for objects, textures and enemy NPCs to load in the world, which can be super annoying of course. That and I kind of want the game to be a little fresh in my mind when I start playing again.

I do not play any consoles anymore since i have trown out my tv and i will never own a tv again ( i hate television). So no.

I love TV and recently found one someone had thrown out.

But I still prefer to play on my Laptop.

I may play on console as well (leaning towards XB1 -- much better online experience than PS4 has as well as I prefer the XB controller). However, it's not going to stop me from playing on PC as well. It would be mostly to play with other friends who game more on console than PC.

It would be great if we could just move 1 or 2 characters over to the consoles instead of the entire account, and create a new account name to which those transferred characters would be under.

@ViciousWayz They'll actually copy over your entire account, instead of permanently moving your characters, just so you know

Also, you're account name will probably be your xbox one user tag.

If you move your whole account to the xbox does that mean you cant play any of the characters on pc anymore

They're copying your account from the PC to the console. Your toons will remain on the PC in addition to being on the console.

I have an xbox controller to play it on PC when they finally get controller support figured out.

I didn't bother with this generation consoles and I have a ton of stuff to do in the game, so definitely not taking a break.

Furniture?? who needs more then a desk and a chair to sit behind the pc to play ESO??

But in all fairness.I do believe the guys furniture is pointed towards eachtother, so you can have a conservation with your guests

Only thing holding me is Witcher 3, which is epic game (I call it now, Metacritic 92+) after Witcher, Batman, then Im gonna start DK on consoles.

I just want to know more about the Anti-TV guy's furniture...that's the only reason for my post here.oh, and I despise consoles and love PCs. My computer is 100x better than any of those consoles. They are basically just junky pc's lol.

Been waiting over a year to play on console with my friends, but now that witcher is out its hard to take steps backwards.

The PS4 was my preferred platform since day 1, but I knew I wasn't nearly patient enough to wait out the console launch, so I grabbed the game at launch on my Mac with the intention of fiddling around a bit until I could transfer over. I never figured I'd have to wait so long, but now that the console launch is almost here, I'm super excited again.

I played on my Mac a lot at first, since I really like the game, but the combination of poor performance and a less than ideal control scheme (keyboard and mouse is less comfortable than a controller for me) started to drain my enthusiasm. Lately, I've just been finishing up my trait research (the last weapon I'd found to research wrapped up a few nights ago) and collecting daily hireling mail. Between now and the transfer, the most I'll likely do in game is spend the last of my crowns, since they won't carry over, and keep checking for hireling mail.

Once the transfer happens though, it'll be console ESO all day, every day! Woooo!

I know of at least 30 ppl who are waiting for it to come out on console simply bc they don't play on PC.

Cause we have inadequate PCs and uncomfortable chairs and have to use a trackball to save our knuckle joints and the console is under the big screen TV and in front of the comfy sofa and the controller doesn't hurt as much. I, personally, am not a member of the PC master race and don't want the crutches of add-ons or glitz of mods so, for me, games are for consoles. But that's just me.

By the way, I too, hate TV or, more accurately, ads but I don't use my TV for commercial network or cable series television and I don't watch sports but that doesn't mean my TV doesn't get any use.

I went with an Xbox One over a new gaming PC mainly because of this game. I haven't been able to play on the PC for a couple of months now because thinking about playing on settings better than medium and voice chat spoil the experience for me.

I'm really looking forward to the console release.

me personally ive always been a Xbox guy since birth. rumor has it i came out of the womb with a Xbox controller in my hand haha...but played pc version just so i could play the game. elder scrolls runs in my blood :P but most definitely cant wait till console release. been farming and crafting in preparation lol. i encourage anyone who is gonna play XB1 eso to add me
