Change mount feeding system and crown store suggestions

Hi,

I would like to say that the mount feeding system is too much. You can feed your horse 1 every 20hs. You can feed 60 times for more speed, another 60 times for more stamina and another 60 times for more space.

Totaly you need 6 months to max one char everything...

In 6 months I can level the 4 clases to V14, so please reconsider the posibility to feed a mount 3 times x day.

Another thing now that we are here is crown store, the items are absurd, do you really think that people would pay more for those things? please I suggest you to meditate and organize to think in really good things for the crown store, or you will get so much less money in the next 2 months that you will alarm.

Suggestions to improve the Crown Store:

- Faction change ( difficult to design but not impossible).
- Character appearance modification.
- XP boost.
- Exclusive new hair styles, adornments and features.
- Introduce new extra playable races.
- New armor/weapon styles moffis (not just customes to change appearance).
- etc.

All these things are pure cosmetic. The logic is simple: do you enjoy the game? do you pay for more? you get it. You don't pay? don't worry, you can play with all the normal things the game have. You will have no disadvantage in pve or pvp, you can be the same as good as anyone else, but you would not be able to enjoy of all the cosmetic great content of the game and yes, maybe you would not level up so fast neither, it will take more time, but that's not also a problem, in the end sooner or later we have all the same level.

Thanks.

I'm sure that they will expand the crown store to include all kinds of pay to win items in time.

Agreed. Either that or at least allow us to feed each TYPE of food once a day (i.e. level 1 stamina, 1 carrying and 1 speed per day).

I find the mount system to be a bit of a cop - out.

It's a really slow-to-level bonus to speed/carrying capacity with an animation; a properly rubbish and lazy way to implement mounts and the worst system that I've seen in any game.

I would prefer to see horses with varying speeds and shoes, tack, saddle, barding etc to improve speed or carry capacity. Allow crafters to make the items and allow them to come in different tiers.

Basically, I want some form of interaction.

Actually I find the idea of a mount adding to inventory very useful and entirely realistic, it's by no means the 'worst' mount system, I've seen .. for that I'd point you at LoTRO's War Steeds.

Isn't there a champion system passive that lets you feed your horse more?

No, I like how it is thanks. Nice to have a little patience now and again as opposed to bowing down to people's demand for convenience.

    edited to add:

Anyway if it bothers you that much, buy some horses to have a higher starting point.

Honestly, why is it unreasonable for it to take 5-6 months to obtain a completely maxed out horse?

In 2 months, you can have a half speed/half capacity horse which will give you noticeable functionality, you simply chip away from there.

It's a once a day commitment, x8 at the most. Takes about 60 seconds (if you're not already near a stable)...

If you had to actively monitor it, every 12 hours or no advancement, it would be different.

Compare to researching Armor/Weapons. Last item on those take 24 days each, max of 3 at a time, yet no one is complaining about that.

You're riding a cactus, for goodness sake...it's not like the horse dies if you don't feed it for an entire week, and it stays full forever after you've gotten it to level.

It's fine the way it is. If you want the triple functionality, leave it alone. If you want to feed all three foods each day, you should have to choose which horse you ride, just as it used to be.

The thing is, previously you could buy 3 horses, each specialized in one skill, and feed each one separately every day. I did that for Carrying and Speed, but not Stamina. Many people did that with all 3 horse skills and now have maxed or nearly maxed horses. But a new player or a new character of an existing player will now take 3x longer to reach that level. I'm feeling that on my recently-created alt.

@daemonios , I understand, but unless you're a precognitive, there was no way to anticipate this.

I mildly argue that most probably focused on one kind of horse first and added the other one/two later. I equally argue that most that have those three have probably been playing for 6 months or more on average.

It does take longer. It is a mild pain, but in the end you get a combo horse that makes it worth the time and minimal effort.

New characters/alts will equally be behind in other aspects as well. It is the nature of the game.

I had with every char two horses paralel feeded with more space and speed for cyrodiil.

Now i did a new char too late, have too feed him slowly, first 60 day for questing, the next 60 days for cyrodiil.

Riding lessons are about the management, care, and training of horses. It's hard to remember that when a qualitative skill is represented only in quantitative form. It's not a race to max out stats. It's building a stronger relationship with that creature you're riding around on every day. Six months feels fair.
