Take a look at account management and you'll notice the price has gone up from $14.99 to $17.99 for your monthly subscription fee.

I really hope that's a joke and not true.

Yeah this does appear to the case..

"You will be charged on April 7, 2015 for $17.99CAD (plus applicable taxes, if any)"

Probably just a mix up from the update today... hopefully....

Yah they finally caught up and that was the only reason I never changed my 6 month sub in Nov, because it was so cheap, but now the exchange rate is 1.28 Cdn for 1 U$ dollar. I have pretty much going to wait till my sub runs out in 52 days and see what direction they are heading for DLC and fixes. Hopefully they continue to fix the bugs as much as they can.

Indeed. And $17.99 for 1 month it's a little bit too much for a game. Good thing we dont really need subscripton until septembre at least.

I bet it's because of the exchange rate. It sucks, though. I will have to think about this.

Ouch !. Good thing is been so warm out here lately, I can turn down the thermostat to save the extra money for my sub.

Dang. I was always kind of surprised that we had the same prices as the US sub, but it's a shame to finally see it go up. Well, when my current sub is up I'll be re-evaluating whether I want to stay subbed or just play for free anyway, so this will just factor into whether the Plus membership is worth it for me.

Have been paying 17.50 per month (35 dollars per game time card) since launch.

Wonder if Game Time Cards are going up in price now as well, or if they are balancing it out between the two.

Oh I know, and I don't begrudge ZOS for making the prices finally reflect the fact that the Canadian dollar is lower than the US dollar. I'm still allowed to feel a little disappointed that they finally caught on though o:)

I understand that the exchange rate will help determine the prices they set, how often will they be adjusting the price based on the exchange rate? I do recall a time back in the 1990's that the Canadian dollar was worth more than the U.S. So if that ever (prob not but...) happens then would we pay less than 14.99?

Exchange rates change all the time so I wonder what the criteria is they use in relation to the exchange rate to determine the prices? 1 month average, 3 month average?

I am curious that when the Canadian dollar gets back into the 0.90's again or even on par with the U.S, will the amount Canadians get charged change again, or is it now forever $17.99?

If I die tomorrow I do not want to think of the game I could of played today, therefor I will play whatever I want today while securing a future to play in as well.

€12.99 = 17.5576$ CAD right now so it's more or less the same...

I checked my plan and the price was changed. I will way in say what happen since i still have a few month left. I might cancel the auto renew if it's the same or goes up againt.

The Canadian dollar was actually stronger than the American one a few years ago in the late 2000's I think but prices were never adjusted because it was free money for American companies. I paid the same $14.99 for WoW through many exchange rate changes over the years and only a few years ago before I quit did they finally started charging me an extra "tax" on top of that because the loonie wasn't doing so well. It's a very underhanded move that only works 1 way; when the exchange is good for Canadian we pay "the same" when it's bad we have to take the hit and pay extra.

I believe you're thinking of 2007, when the Canadian dollar was stronger than the US dollar for about 2 months.
