Capture.....

...Hy there,...here comes one more question....
I accepted a mission to capture Castle Black Boot, so i traveld there expecting to come to a big battle....but,...there where just me and a lot of animies...
what was i suposed to do? .....capturing that castle on my own...alone? ....Had no chance.....

You're supposed to get a group together and go take the castle, share the quest with your group and they'll have the same incentive you do to capture the thing

You would need to be a part of a successful siege with a group. Some times you can hold onto those quest for a while. It just depends on whether or not the battle heads to that specific location.

Well, yes. It will take quite a large chunk of people to take a castle.

If there are no enemies, even small group is able to do it. Large group - 24 players. Medium - 12.

I must point out one small detail about these good answers - you don't actually personally HAVE to do anything to get this quest objective except be there when the flags flip. I can think of more than a couple PvPers who have relentlessly farmed capture and defensive ticks without actually fighting anyone but just paying attention to the map and showing up.

For those less experienced in PvP quests, to get the Alliance Point rewards you just need to be in the subzone of the objective (keep or resources: farm/lumbermill/mine) when the flags are captured to get your reward.

For defensive AP rewards you just need to be in the subzone "when nearby fighting dies down" (presuming the defenders don't lose, in which case the attackers get the capture AP).

For a keep you can usually think of this as the area inside the path around the place (also generally where patrolling guards won't notice you, and the corner tower mages won't zap you off your mount, something some people never seem to learn - and notably there's exceptions to this "path" rule which you'll just have to learn by paying attention. A lot of PvP experience is involved in knowing every little pixel of the terrain and locales of Cyrodiil.

That would actually be a fun contest....who can take a keep with the smallest team.

My problem is....i´m not in any group ( more kind of a lone wolf ) and i don´t know how to join any, ....and anyway, i don´t understand that there was no battle going on....cause it said so on the map....
