Cadwells Silver as Dunmer

Is this a bad joke? My char is on the Ebonheart Pact, and Dunmer.
Now i doubt many care how much i love the Dunmer as a race, but i do. So anyways. Now i have to happily slaughter other Dunmer for the Daggers, for no real reason except to grind my Veteran ranks up. Wow. But the real joke of course is: They are Dunmer Slavers. Would i have loved to have a quest in the pact where i can raid a Breton village and capture slaves? yea i would've loved to but was apparently too busy helping 900 consecutive peasants sorting their lives out, so no time to do what i could've done best....pillaging and looting. Insult to injury and seriously just so damn lazy to implement Race specific content or even remotely caring about how their system plays out when you're not blindly grinding and actually want to play the quests.

You don't play your story you play the story zenimax is trying to tell your soul got transfered to dc and now you have to live the life of the dc hero after that ad you will kill people from your alliance and perhaps even from your rp house. This game is not sandboxy of course you could stop playing the story after your alliance I know a lot of guildies who never finished silver and leveled through dungeons grinding and PvP....

What happens in silver and gold is more of an illusion showing what some nameless mook who escaped coldharbor but wasn't with Varen did to get those others to the alliance meeting than anything you did. (though people in your main alliance still comment on events of the other two)

I know that it's an illusion, but it serves as the basis for people to get their v ranks up, so i suppose i will resort to pvp and dungeon grinds, considering the quests are really not what i was hoping for after reaching lvl 50. I wouldn't mind if it was an option but it's simply laziness to use existing content to fill in the gaps. Atm their idea of "endgame" content is more or less insulting to say the least.

I agree. I've always thought that going through both alliances was foolish. Since they make us go through those alliances to complete silver and gold they should at least allow cross alliance dungeon runs. I mean, we're all going to each side's dungeon's anyway.

Cadwell hit you on the head and now you're hallucinating. Or maybe you ate some glowing Coldharbor mushrooms. It's the only explanation! Why else would I actively thwart the Dominion's plans all over Shadowfen? I'm supposed to be a trusted agent of the Queen, not a filthy turncloak.

It's utter nonsense, which would be funny if they weren't serious about it.

So far i've gotten a fair amount of CP progress through delves and world bosses etc... so it seems questing isn't entirely necessary, apart from the almanac quests which aren't badly done at least.

I think it's great, but I'm not a lore-hound like some are.
