Dismounting Horse Problem

OK, I try to dismount my horse wile moving and sometimes I have to hit the button to dismount several times before it will work. Was not this way until 1.6.
I suppose its another nerf. I liked to be able to run up on something and dismount quickly. Sure, its not like that in real life for the most part but it was nice to have it in game. Sometimes you have to give up some or almost all of reality for good game play.
Fully stopped it works fine, you mount and dismount no problem. But wile in motion it seems that it wont let you. Smells like a damn nerf! >..>

✭✭✭✭I have dismounting issues to the point where NOTHING dismounts me, not even reloading the UI. Can't interact with objects, can't Crouch, can't enter combat...only relogging lets me dismount. ✭Dismounting issues, horses stopping and stuttering ALL THE TIME even on flat surfaces. Tamriel Unlimited launching on Tuesday w a cash shop that wants me to buy mounts? AHAAHAH right. When you guys fix mounts, Ill consider buying one.

Make stamina builds even with magicka builds.
Disable abilities while holding block.
Give us a REASON to do dungeons more than once.
Remove PVP AoE CAP. It is ruining Cyrodiil.
Fix/Remove Forward Camps. They are ruining Cyrodiil.
Impenetrability needs to REDUCE CRIT DAMAGE. Not negate entire builds.
Werewolf is not equal to Vamps/Bats.2 -
Djeriko✭✭✭This happens to me when in towns and you are sprinting when a loading screen occurs. I'm assuming the loading screen causes it to think you are still holding the sprint key. If you are not sprinting when the screen starts loading then you can dismount as normal. I have found an easy way to dismount in towns when this bug hits is to run to a location where it auto dismounts you like an open portal to a crafting area. you run inside and the game kicks you off. Until fixed that's an easy way off."When in doubt, kill it with fire."3 -

✭For dismounting, I usually open the map, click any wayshrine (for a $ teleport) and as soon as I dismount, cancel the teleport. (you don't spend $ until teleport completes).
As far as clicking more than once to dismount, this is because you can now use abilities while mounted. That change messed up dismount:
pre-1.6: since you couldn't do ANYTHING while mounted, dismount was coded to trigger instantly, and even if sprinting.
post-1.6: since you CAN use skills while mounted, Sprinting disables BOTH skills AND dismount. Dismount now has a "check" in the code, and its buggy/laggy, thinking you are still sprinting when you aren't.Edited by onlinegamer1 on March 16, 2015 5:06PM3 -

Mr.Hmm✭✭✭✭It happened to me, I just had to press Shift(SPRINT) once for it to be fixed.If I die tomorrow I do not want to think of the game I could of played today, therefor I will play whatever I want today while securing a future to play in as well.

I've noticed the horse issue as well. And honestly, a ton of in game lag which I never had before 1.6. Hopefully what ever maintenance they're performing atm helps with these issues.0

derpsticks✭✭✭✭Anyone having problems with charging maneuver? I cast it on my horse and it uses my stam but I don't gain the buff but others around me do.
Also please fix the cannot mount in combat crap... I'm not in combat.0 -

You don't have to do a soft log... Just open your mounts section and select a second mount. It will override any dismount errors.0 -

✭✭✭✭I also have the issue with my horse slowing to a crawl when going over invisible obstacles (aka usually things that haven't loaded or rendered yet).

Can't dismount, only entering combat works if the mob hits you a few times.
Casting a spell, reload ui, dismounting buttons,.. don't work.
Hope they debug it fast, really annoying.
