Variety of Daedric Motifs

Based on the text in the daedric motifs book, the daedric styles are abberations of existing styles. They cannot create, they can warp the existing. Would be nice to see daedric versions of contemporary motifs.

Unsure if the existing should be retrofitted or left alone. The daedric 2 handed sword, daggers, and swords are warped versions of redguard.

Would be a way to expand and add flair to the existing infrastructure.

Thoughts?

I personally would like to see a daedric motif that allows you to make armor in the style that the dremora in the cinematic trailers wear.

It looks an awful lot like the daedric armor from ES V: Skyrim.

I personally don't like the style of Daedric armor in ESO right now.

Very much agreed. Made a full set of medium armor thinking why not? Well, now I know.

Yep. That would be one of the intents of adding variety to the daedric style. I made one set of daedric medium, said meh and went back to my typical style.

Would be a good segue for reuse as well.

daedric bosmer could be seducer style, daedric orc golden saint style and so forth.

Different daedric styles would be very nice. And yep, still waiting for a rework on the current daedric style : )
I'd love they'll stick to what was created for Morrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim. They have that "layered pattern" in ESO stylebook found in that many armors, I suppose they feel they have to be coherent with their stylebook. But... we've experienced daedric before and we know how cool it can look, That's why we feel what we have here is not daedric enough!

If the only "daedric badass" is assigned in a near future to pvp rewards, I know one person who'll never get that XD
And that one is me!

The trailer Daedric Styles is the Daedric Styles that will be released with the Imperial City. That style is Named Imperial Daedric or Xiv Kin and is similar to the Skyrim Original one. It will be crafted in the Imperial City if your faction own it, but that is just what they told 8 months ago, things might change.

Now, going more on-topic, I really like your suggestion... Of course there should be more styles to Daedric, each one been a morf of the original. But as for the Initial Daedric, I think it must remain in game. Daedric Styles could be different for each Faction or for each Daedric Realm. That would be amazing
