Why Chimer ghost have fangs?

Why Chimer ghosts have fangs? There are the ghost army near Davon's Watch. No any problems with males. They looking like a Dunmer and it is right. Some females... Not many, are right too. But more often I found Orc female ghosts there. What is this unholy curse?
