So how is the population on EU megaserver? I'm playing on NA atm but I thought more NA players would be awake at EU times
And whats the biggest faction on EU?
thinmking of starting over as I'm only a lvl 39 NB so far

No way we can compare, only ZoS can do that. PvP on EU Thornblade is always active, and laggy of course.

DC starter and end zones are always active with players on EU. Can't say for middle zones haven't been through any in a long while.

Biggest Faction is EP by about 4%
Top PvE Guilds are in EP and AD.

One of the biggest differences between NA/EU is the economy, prices are so wildly different. For example an Imperial Motif on NA may be ~30-40k or so whereas on EU they still sell for 90-100k+!

If I were you I'd stick to NA, EU population is just great but you will suffer increased ping (almost doubling your ping, if not more) and you will be much more sensitive to small fluctuations on your connection.

Maybe try an EU character though to see what it's like? .

Why would we want to play with higher ping and people in a different time zone? It's far more convenient to play on EU if you live in EU.

My guess is people have either tried and found they got more lag on NA, or they assume they'll get more lag. Also there's a lot of people on the EU server who speak French, German and other (officially unsupported) European languages and I suspect they assume they'll have a better chance of finding other people who speak the same language on the EU server.

But honestly, it's probably mostly because if you're in Europe it defaults to EU and you have to go into the options menu to change it.

I play both servers. NA isn't nearly as friendly. NA large trade coalition has a strangle hold on kiosk prices, even those out of the way ones while on EU small guilds can still get the out of the way kiosks with reasonable bids.

It all depends on what time of day you mainly play. I play a lot during the day, but am also a night owl. So I enjoy playing both servers. More characters to enjoy that way as well.

I'm playing alot from5PM till 7PM and from 8PM till midnight GMT+1
And in weekends from 5PM till 1AM

I play on both servers, have characters in all alliances on both, and other than languages spoken, have noticed very little difference in anything else.
