    why dont we have player collision... i played a game that did it perfectly.. non enemies were only partially impossible to move through, 1 second of constantly holding and you would just phase through intentionally...

    make it like this for Allies and Make enemies unable to phase completely... that allows the collision realism without allowing friendly to just use it to troll or cause problems.

    Always figured it was a bug that shields do not already work like this.

    The fact that shields are even allowed to stack shows the ignorance of game balance of ZOS. RPG games going back 30+ years had rules was how many "layers" of defenses could be used. We will see ZOS tweak this time and time again and WILL eventually decide on stacking limitations.

    Wait, watch and see.

    This is not true. NPC collision wasn't even added until late beta, they never had player collision, but you're right about how it would cause more lag. That's only logical since it means more calculations for the server to process.
