I think its time someone from ZOS stand up bite the bullet and at least acknowledge the issue at hand. Furthermore we all need to know that our concerns are being addressed and a reasonable time line for when we can expect some form of progress. I do not think its unreasonable to ask the producers to step up and say something to us as subscribers especially under the circumstances. Its the least you can do to prevent a mass exodus from PVP. Its been a week and nothing official on what's really happening. I believe its time to stand up, take some responsibility for the issues at hand and be accountable. I don't think any player would object to being told yes we know x y z are not working correctly and we are doing x y z to address it and we expect to have it fixed by x y z date.

Communication is important. However, bad communication can be more damaging than no communication and I have began to lose track of how many times ZO$ has stated falsehoods, provided inaccurate information, or had "changes in development direction."

In terms of keeping players, I think they are far better off keeping quiet as they clearly are a disfunctional team that has proven to be incapable of managing their own internal communication.

This game has been out for almost a year and players are still clamoring for "communication" on certain issues? The lack of a legitimate response is an answer in of itself.

I disagree . I'd rather here what their trying to do rather then nothing . When they say nothing we usually assume the worst and turn our right like the B2P announcement .

Sorry, you can't slap a 'completed by' date on any technical issue, you can only estimate. Estimates have not gone down in ZoS's favor previously as subscribers take them to be guarantees. So I'm not surprised they are being tight lipped about timeframes unless they actually have a guarantee.

Zeni Representatives and some Developers have meetings with guilds to ask questions and get feedback ( PVP focused ).

I think all of the development teams who could investigate and fix the problems in Cyrodiil have been reassigned to projects associated with the consoles release. This would explain why we receive statements about Cyrodiil performance being a priority but we never receive any fixes or progress reports.

I kind of hope that is the case, otherwise we'd have to wonder how competent they are since we've seen zero improvement on the issue.

I agree, and it is probably the most practical approach to assume the worst in regards to PvP.

While meetings with guilds regarding PvP sounds promising, history has shown in many cases that those meetings are ineffective and fail to produce the results that asked for. Case in point were the requests for removal of forward camps with the inclusion of alternative travel methods that has never materialized.

Freedom of movement in Cyrodiil has been limited, population caps have been lowered, and yet here we are with lag and performance issues still as bad as ever; if not worse. They had 5+ months to get it right with 1.6. Simply put, I believe their team is lacking in technical expertise and incapable of correcting Cyrodiil issues. I would love for them to prove me wrong, but I would bet money they will not.
