Anyone else have enlightenment bug?

After some daily work in dungeons this morning, I was out of enlightenment. Then suddenly, while I was reading on skills in skill meny, I got new enlightenment. I did'nt do any xp,- or inspiration gaining, but logged off.

- 2 Hours later I logged back on, and enlightenment was gone.
- I logged into my VR2 alt, and no enlightenment either.
- I logged back to my VR14 main, and after 5 min, I got enlightenment. But when I took travel to player, enlightenment was gone.
- 5 min after I logged out and in, I got new enlightenment, and used that to gain champion point. But this time I didn't fast travel.

I haven't been without enlightenment since last Wednesday when I first downloaded 1.6. I can only really play on Wednesdays and Saturday's, log out for a bit every hour or two, and have earned 5 additional CP. I submitted feedback about this asking if it was normal.

From Wednesday to last Monday, you had 4cp worth of enlightenment per day, since Monday, its now 1 CP worth, so sounds like you where in the normal range. Some players have earned 25 CP by using all the enlightenment daily and nothing more. (no bug)

I bump this with new information. Fast travel and loading ruin my enlightenment. I have got it 3 times today, but gone away after loading screen. Anyone have the same issue, or information about this?

I still had enlightenment yesterday when I logged out and when I logged in today it was gone. After a while I got enlightenment back, so I switched character and enlightenment was gone again. After few more character switch I got enlightenment again, zoned to refugee and lost enlightenment. After that I filed a bug report.

All sound like fake enlightenment and not logging out/fast traveling or zoning out it just a mistake on your part because it will all just get rolled back cause the system knows you arent really enlightened and it just being a UI issue being triggered by people around you getting enlightened.

its fake and you only get it once a day account wide, any time else throughout the day, consider it a UI error.

Well I did get enlightenment both times in rawh'ka so that could explain why it vanishes. But still, I haven't got any enlightenment today and I'm now at 24 hour mark from yesterdays logout.

yea rawlka is a breeding ground for fake enlightenment. Ive missed enlightenment many time too and that part is just on ZoS, otherwise its supposed to be around the last time you got it, so make sure you're on I guess at that point.

No, it has both real and fake parts. I earned 5 CP since the 1.6.5 update and finished all of my enlightenment.

I get enlightened w/ 100k with no one else around upon login on my vet toon, take a wayshrine, and all of my enlightenment is gone.

If I'm in a crowded place, I get the fake enlightenment, and it resets along with real enlightenment I still had yet to use.

Now I won't do anything that ports me places but I keep my real enlightenment when loading. The real problem seems to be tied with porting.

I still haven't figured out how enlightenment works. Today it was constantly on and off. It seemed to "stick" at some point and I managed to earn a CP, but I'm really confused as to when it should start/end and why it disappears and reappears constantly.

The part about enlightenment reappearing often is the fake stuff.

Yep today I had this bug...2 bars of enlightment burnt to dust on both alts.

I just did some testing. It seems I get my 100k legitimate enlightenment pool around 8am ish est. Once I burn through that, usually after a couple of hours I'll get "enlightened" again. For some reason it mostly happens in Rivenspire (I'm a DC VR4 currently), which sucks because it's too low level to get any XP.

The first false enlightenment pool I got was 1.2mil, the 2nd I got was randomly 277kish.

So I opened two lockboxes in Rivenspire while "enlightened" for the 3rd time today, it gave me 275 actual XP per, so 550 actual XP.

ACTUAL XP BAR: 424181 -> 424456 -> 424731

CP BAR: 343291 -> 344391 -> 345491

After that I switched zones to Greenshade, and as I expected, my pool was now at 0.

Here's the interesting part: It knew it was false enlightenment, my actual XP bar was unchanged as usual, but my CP xp bar had been reverted to 343517.

That is also weird, because it's 226XP from my original CP xp amount, and I'm missing 324XP. Very odd.

Also, I haven't switched characters since this morning.

Last time the game gave it to me was the first day of this patch =(

These VR levels are really killing me trying to get max level on my main atm. Did they nerf exp or something?

Edit: Does anyone know if there is some sort of trick to it? staying logged out in a city, or a time period i need to be offline? I would really like to be able to get Enlightenment again

I've been denied it whenever being on during the time I last got it. Also, it is given to me only when I log on. So if I get on exactly the same time every day, nada. Everybody seems to have a different experience.

Thanks for the info, It sounds like i just have to play the game exactly the same as before this patch until they start getting the features working then =(

I logged a ticket regarding problems with Enlightenment and received this reply:

We’ve located an issue with the most recent update where players were being incorrectly flagged as ‘Enlightened’ when they should not have been. This is a client-side issue, and updates upon changing area.
Before moving, you would see that you were gaining Experience at an increased rate, while you were actually gaining the correct rate. When you zone, it may look like you’re:
• Losing your enlightened bonus
• Being ‘Rolled back’ on experience, and therefore losing Champion Points you’d earned.
What is actually happening is the server is updating your UI to correctly reflect the amount of experience you have earned. You’re not losing any experience, as you’re still awarded the correct amount in the background.
We’re deeply sorry for any confusion this has caused, and have a number of fixes in for this issue in next week’s patch.

It only recognises part of the problem, however, as I did not receive any enlightenment at all (either phantom or real) for several days this week.

OK, so yesterday the bug hit me again, this time I had 220k xp bar and I filled it up to 400k, game says you have 1 champion point and it was for mage star, so I go to my Champ screen and there is no and champion bar empty.
So.. I relog and what happend is champion bar was almost full 378kxp and the star im working on is now warrior.
This time I kept questing untill it said I have a champion point again and it really gave me 1 cp.

The only thing I regret is not taking screenshots.
