Recently Released Add-Ons That Are Amazing And Must-Haves

The *only* 2 things I am iffy about is the lag on char load/reloadui from Master Merchant - it is no big deal in itself but somehow when I reloadui say in a bank - somehow my char always arms her staff and I am concerned about hitting npc during this small tiny lag - no I will not turn off attack npc because I prefer to just keep weapons sheathed in town.

The other is: Turn off guild MOTD - as an officer in a PVE guild I much prefer editing this to sending out x number of mails with mailR to let my guild know what's going on.

So much easier on everyone just the one motd notification.

Or it's back to 5 mins of mailR and hope it doesn't crash and I have to start over.

I like greyminds quick slots better for potion use.

A lot of these are pretty nice though. that swaps one seems sweet.

Seems like lots of addons = lots of crashes. I personally use only the ones that are absolutely critical, like FTC, and guild bank auto restack.
    Reften
    Bosmer (Wood Elf)
Moonlight Crew (RIP), Misfitz (RIP), Victorem Guild

VR16 NB, Stam build, Max all crafts.

Azuras & Trueflame. Mostly PvP, No alts.

Semi-retired till the lag is fixed.

Love the Packers, Bourbon, and ESO...one of those will eventually kill me.

Soon as I started to run Master Merchant my performance in game tanked, game kept freezing, memory usage went through the roof and constantly getting lua memory almost reaching it's limit errors.

Same with DataDaedra. I guess they use the same mechanism.

I though you post only new addons. Well, SWAPS was created 05/27/14, not so new. No, thank you was created 12/11/14. This is nice addons, but you need to delete it from your list OR edit your title.
Also, where are MUST HAVE addons in your list? I see a few nice addons, but I don't see must have addons.

AUI - nice, but nothing new. Just a compilation of current addons.
Crit percent - well, yeah, may be useful.
Fense info - useless for me. Ok if you use it.
Master Merchant is a Shopkeeper port. it's pretty nice addon, but you bold the only one feature. Really? This is the only one reason why you use it? Akatosh save us all.
No, thank you - yeah, very nice addon.
PvP Ranks - why it must have if I not PvP?
Swaps - useful if you need to swap all bar quickly. But not must have. I prefer to switch manualy because most time I need to change one or two skills.
Votan's Fish Fillet - who even fishing now exept for achievment?
Votan's Search Box - you have only ~250 slots with different tabs. You can't hold in your mind what in your inventory?

I don't understand this post. First of all, we don't need a run down of your opinion on each of these add-ons, especially when you are not being constructive. Next time, don't bother posting this garbage.

    i.e.
...why it must have if I not PvP?
...useless for me. Ok if you use it.
...useful if you need to swap all bar quickly. But not must have. I prefer to switch manually because most time I need to change one or two skills. (Really? What is not a must have to you, may be for the next player).

For what it is worth MM is an amazing add-on. I had to increase my LUA limit to 256 from 64 to quit receiving the "Running out of LUA memory..." Thank you to the OP for pointing these add-ons out.

Please note these are sorted in alphabetical order.

    1. Advanced UI

    http://www.esoui.com/downloads/info919-AUI-AdvancedUIBeta.html

This add-on completely revamps the group/raid member boxes and makes them amazing. It shows level, health, class, percentage, and damage shields in real time. This has completely changed dungeons, trials, DSA, and PvP for me.

    pvw2888.jpg

Another optional feature of this add-on is adding a hotbar for your quickslot items, so you never have to use the wheel again.

    pvw2885.png

    2. Crit Percent

    http://www.esoui.com/downloads/info951-CritPercent.html

This add-on restores the Crit Percents on item tooltips that ZOS removed from the game.

    pvw2911.jpg

    3. Fence Info

    http://www.esoui.com/downloads/info956-FenceInfo.html

Tells you how many remaining fence and launder actions you have for the day, and has a timer until the fence resets.

    4. Master Merchant

    http://www.esoui.com/downloads/info928-MasterMerchant.html

Automatically tells you what an item is worth when you mouse over it.

    pvw2820.jpg

However, the biggest feature of this add-on is that it adds a column in guild stores that says if an item is a good deal, great deal, or bad deal. It integrates with Awesome Guild Store to let you search for good deals. And if someone in chat asks for a price check, you just right click the item and hit Stats To Chat, and it tells them what it's worth!

    pvw2889.jpg

    5. No Thank You

    http://www.esoui.com/downloads/info865-Nothankyou.html

Blocks all things you don't want to see in the game. Blocks raid nofitications, enlightened alert, screenshot saved, item repaired, delete mail prompt, it makes it so the friends icon isn't always showing, and blocks guild message of the day alerts, to name a few.

    6. PvP Ranks

    http://www.esoui.com/downloads/info932-PvPRanks.html

Displays PvP ranks in a list in the alliance war window, and says what each one unlocks and how much XP is required. If you ever PvP, this is an add-on that you will never know you wanted, but once you use it, you will love it.

    pvw2844.jpg

    7. SWAPS

    http://www.esoui.com/downloads/info947-SWAPS-SwapSkillsforUpdate6.html

This is what Wykkyd's Outfitter aspired to be but never was. This is a game-changer for hotbar skills. It lets you presets for your skills that change in one-click instantly without making six clicking sounds, and it lets you add icons next to each preset.

    pvw2909.jpg

    8. Votan's Fish Fillet

    http://www.esoui.com/downloads/info958-VotansFishFillet.html

Automatically fillets all your fish at a time instead of having to click each one, now that fish can be used in provisioning recipes. Huge time saver that will save you minutes or hours, depending on how often you fish.

    9. Votan's Search Box

    http://www.esoui.com/downloads/info914-VotansSearchBox.html

Lets you use the native search box in the inventory that is in the code but ZOS disabled. It works with Advanced Filter too. Very unobtrusive, and works instantly.

    pvw2759.jpg

It looks like Swaps only saves one bar. :(

You can raise it past 256. Just keep increasing it in multiples of 64 (or 128 or 256 or... ) until it works. I had to get to 512 before mine worked, and I've heard of people with higher settings.

What was your problem with Wykkyd's that this solves? I have my characters all set up in Wykkyd and it works well with no issues that I've seen, so even though this looks perhaps a bit prettier, unless there's a real game changer of a feature, Wykkyd works well enough... and indeed, even as advertised.

Some addons are great but you never know what is in an addon unless you look.

Someone found code in a relatively popular WoW ui addon that let the addon author to in effect take over your chat functions if you were in a group or raid with him. He said the code was in his addon for years and was included just for 'testing' purposes. ;)

    @OP:

About Swaps and Wykkyd's outfitter: I use both.
Swaps is good because it swaps things in background and quickly. Meaning you can use it while you are conversing with an NPC and are about to get XP. Good for swapping to set that has all those skills you wish to level. But it does not distinguish between weapon bar 1 or 2 and you can mess up your skills pretty badly if you are not careful. It also does not swap gear, but only skills.
Outfitter has many possible sets to choose from, swaps gear as well as skills at the same time and is tied to a weapon slot. Which makes it safer to use. It does not work if you only have one weapon equipped or while in a conversation, it does clunk up your chat box with messages which feels unnecessary.

So, both add ons are excellent and I can only say "thank you" to their authors, for making them. I know I wouldn't be playing ESO any more, if they weren't there.

There was also the one here that sent gold to the author's account.

The listed add-ons are clearly very useful to some people, but by no means are any of them "must have".

Moreover, given the number of add-ons some players have, and the changes to their game configuration/computer settings they need to make to get them to work, it's not surprising there are reports of performance issues with this game.

To anyone who uses this, does the hotbar allow you to use a potion by just hitting F2 or whatever, or do you have to hold down Q and then hit F2, like you had to hold down Q and then use the wheel?

I hate the minimap on this one, you cant get rid of it no matter what you do. Once you shut it off with a hot key it instantly reappears after you do anything.. loot look in inventory, anything..

Swaps is kinda cool, but you can't change both skillbars with one click. And you can't swap out weapons and skills with one click.

Wykkyd's Outfitter and Macros addons work together to do that. Much better for me.

    1. Advanced UI

Another optional feature of this add-on is adding a hotbar for your quickslot items, so you never have to use the wheel again.

    pvw2885.png
To anyone who uses this, does the hotbar allow you to use a potion by just hitting F2 or whatever, or do you have to hold down Q and then hit F2, like you had to hold down Q and then use the wheel?

I prefer to use Greymind Quickslot Bar.

    From it's web page:

"A simple addon so you don't have to dig into the quick slot interface during combat.

    Two (non-exclusive) modes of operation:
The addon provides an expanded quick slot bar. You can click the desired item to switch your current quick slot item and then use it (as you always do) with your quick slot hotkey (default: Q)
Probably more useful, is that you can also set up hotkeys (from the Escape menu -> Controls) and press the hotkey to set that item as the current quick slot item and then use it (default: Q)."
My wife complains that I never listen to her. (Or something like that.)

Seems like lots of addons = lots of crashes. I personally use only the ones that are absolutely critical, like FTC, and guild bank auto restack.
i run them and 20 others, I never crashed once because of them.

But I also managed to simultaneously use 250 Addons in Skyrim without the game crashing ^^
Holy crap man, and I thought my now 18 addons here in ESO was getting to be a bit much lol.

Too much? I'm currently using 73 addons which are on ESOUI + 3 my own private addons...

I'm using upwards of 80 addons myself, and have my LUA set to 2048 (2GB, but I also have 32GB of RAM in my machine).

tinyurl.com/Calia-addons - I update the list regularly, and also have instructions on increasing LUA.
