Maybe it is the guards booby trapping the shrines to clamp down on all the criminal scum!

When I arrive at the Belkarth I'm dumped onto the ground - in first person view my eyes are at ground level. But no harm done and I'm only there for a moment.

I immediately get up off my knees - hoping that nobody saw how the great warrior who defeated Molag Bal tripped at a wayshrine

It happend to me several times at Ashen Road Wayshrine in Stonefalls. Came out some hundred feet above the shrine, fell down, died a horribad death. /Bugged it already.

On a sidenote: WAYSHRINES is an anagram for HAYWIRES (plus an obsolete N, sorry for that)

I got randomly teleported during a fight when i loaded i was falling from the sky...it was funny though took me forever to hit the ground.

1. rob a town
2. run from the guards
3. still in combat
4. use wayshrine
5. after teleporting get 1 hit KO by distant guard

I just used the wayshrine in Shornhelm (Rivenspire) and ported to the shrine in Sentinel (Alik'r). I loaded and saw the surroundings for maybe 1 second and then got a 2nd load screen. After this 2nd screen, I appeared in the air and fell to my death. Recap showed 15,048 falling damage. I /bugged it. A bit annoying, but I've only had it happen once so far at level 37, so not a game-breaker yet.

I've had the teleport by wayshrine 300 feet up at least a dozen times, always fun. The other good one is use a wayshrine all good walk away and fall through the ground after a couple steps, definate wtf!
