Best Class for Tanking?

So I just bought the Imperial Edition and was thinking on making a tank, since Imperials have pretty insane Racial Traits. Question is.. what class is best for it? For tanking I mean.

3. Nightblade
4. Sorcerer

DK has the best overall combination of self heal, defensive buffs, CC, and defensive ultimates.

Templar comes in second as while it has good self heals, it lacks CC and its defensive ults are not as good as even a nightblades. (the self healing counts for alot and makes them Trial and Vet DSA viable)

night blade ranks above sorc due to the possibility of sap tanking and the damage midigation of Bolstering darkness. they are better than DK and Templar at tanking groups but lack the self sustain of templars and DKS vs raid bosses. the have no instant self heals and are not as viable vs boss fights however.

Sorcs have a few CC options and great defensive buffs, but ultimates that are only good vs trash pulls and no real self healing in combat as tanks.

Yeah, this basically. All of the classes build pretty decent tanks, they look a little different, but they can all do the job.

Not so sure about the templar lacking CC. There are quite a few CC/debuff skills with the templar, especially in dawns wrath. Templar can have insane tank / perma heals. If you sacrifice damage as well your pretty much invincible.

I would go DK or Templar but Templar is more fun to tank with I think. DK is the obvious choice.
