It needs a nerf, its silly the amount of dmg you can spam with it, and you can spam it alot if you have 1000 ulti pts. Im a sorc myself and I feel lame if I ever use it (wich I dont because it makes me feel rotten)

    It's currently the Sorcerer's best feature. When you NEED to pass a dps check, you'll regret these words ;)

    I'll agree I feel rotten if I use it 1v1, but if I'm facing 3 opponents I wont hesitate to whip it out. But I don't think this skill needs nerf its one of the few things us sorcs have.

    It's the most easily avoided spell in the game and the only ultimate that can be dodge rolled out of it.

    In 1.6 it is entirely possible to dodge roll infinitely rendering Power overload completely useless.

    Yes. Reflective Scales, Defensive Posture, and Eclipse are all hard counters.

    ...and the damage is blockable.

    They are, and if you cast 2-3 of them and they accidentally hit a dk with reflective scales, better get ready to throw on some shields real quick...

    AS @Ezareth pointed out Power Overload is the only ultimate that can be dodged and has hard counters. Not to mention Overload is useless against other Sorcs since most are running Ball of Lighting which is another counter.

    If they nerf it please nerf Wrecking Blow too, as its just as good while not being an ultimate.

    I only use overload's heavy attack when I get desperate because any idiot can and will dodge it or throw it back in my face.

    doesnt need a nerf... its never been enough on its own to counter Sorcs other issues.

    PVP exclusive topic in General Forums to cause sorcs more trouble, can we consider this a form of insult?

    As soon as Stamina builds have 360 CP, they will be immune to this (Crystal Fragments, as well). Unlimited Dodge Rolls + Tactician = end of any build based on slow, visible projectiles.
