Is flurry to slow?

I've been using flurry along side the morphed daedric curse and flurry's full damage happens almost exactly at the same amount of time the 3.5 second explosion does. Using them separately it looks like flurry takes 3 seconds to channel while curse takes it's listed 3.5 seconds. That's more than double the listed channel time.

I made video to show flurry in action. It's poor quality because it's set to minimum so I wouldn't have performance issues messing up my attacks while recording.

You can see during the first kill I start off using the regular animation back to back and then at 50% health I start canceling the animation. It looks to be almost 3 seconds and with animation canceling maybe 2.5 seconds. Flurry doesn't do it's full damage until you pull your weapons out of the enemy but you can cancel when they relax their shoulders. You'll see on the second kill flurry finishes basically .5 seconds before the curse explodes which has a 3.5 second timer. I did a balance of back to back abilities and animation canceling to try and show the gaps better.
