Erm, the pig was given out at a convention. It isn't a measure of loyalty, but who lived the nearest and could come. I bought mine on eBay.wenchmore420b14_ESO wrote: »wenxue2222b16_ESO wrote: »Please hurry up and reskin that bristleback piggie so I can have my very own Shornhelm Sow please. So now the super exclusive Pet Pig will no longer be exclusive? NOOOOOO! Please Zos, stop making loyal players, those who beta tested from first beta, who paid a year of sub's to "beta" test game for you, feel like second rate citizens. Exclusives should stay exclusive!! Please remember us who have been here since the beginning! Thank you!!

It wasn't there to start with. These are "Unseen, Upcoming" Crown Store items. Also, it's a different monkey.wenchmore420b14_ESO wrote: »Wow! I couldn't give you an Agree and an Awesome, so take the Awesome and here is my Agreebellanca6561n wrote: »Never argue with people's feelings....just don't.
Folks who want a visible marker as early adopters - it's understandable if ephemeral.
But allow me to offer what I believe made being an early adopter worth more than a damned monkey...which I never used
1. I, and a group of good friends, got to experience an expansive, expensive new, new, new online game from before the beginning. Before Angry Joe and raging Francis and all the knock it until you drop knuckleheads had their dubious say.
2. The quests were much harder and often done in groups, the systems had yet to be sussed out by so-called Theorycrafters and nary an add-on existed to tell you where every lorebook, skyshard, or harvest node was located.
3. People wore armor and looked like warriors...we simply didn't know any better.
4. The first time you beheld a keep siege on Cyrodiil it felt epic in the true sense of the word and the fights were fun because everyone was learning how.
5. Add your own special feeling of new game excitement here that comes once and not again.
And, if you don't remember just how exciting it was, this may help.....an end of beta celebration in Daggerfall...
This genre has precious few debuts. We got in on one. The monkey....that simply serves to identify one early adopter to another.
I agree with you the monkey has no meaning and makes no statement about me as a person or a player.bellanca6561n wrote: »This genre has precious few debuts. We got in on one. The monkey....that simply serves to identify one early adopter to another.

I like how the rest of the vanity pets have descriptive two-word names to make them sound epic, and then...
lizard
The poor little guy doesn't even have description text.

Thank you. Just got that warm feeling. I remember when I first signed in to the game....Took two hours....excitedly bounced through the whole fug bucked thing. There may never be actual loyalty appreciation, but no one will be able to take away the feeling of experiencing something you never knew you wanted for the first time.
