The Lost Boots

Day 1:
I have killed many beasts in my time. I have collected old pieces of gear, armor, swords, shields from these abominations. As a collector, I was happy to receive 6 pieces of the Ebon Armory set. It soon came to my knowledge that there was in fact a seventh piece: the sabatons.
Day 142:
I will kill every monster in the land until I get those boots.
Day 376:
No boots yet, nothing much to add, just killing monsters, hoping they will drop the boots.
Day 930:
Sent a dove with a letter on it to some magical elves. They told me the boots exist, and that many people have those boots.
Day 20895:
Still no boots.
seriously though zenimax i've spent WEEKS trying to get only the boots, multiple pieces of other sets, from the ebon set have dropped BUT NEVER A PAIR OF SABATONS.
