To anyone who cant stand the new forum font

If you have issues where your text resembles something like this:




You can fix this in a number of ways, but the simplest I've found it to block the font all together using the ad-block extension for either chrome or firefox.

Simply install the ad-block plus extension for chrome or firefox (or your own favorite ad-blocker, they all should work) and add a custom filter with this text without the quotes:

"fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto+Condensed"

This made reading the forums bearable and you can see the difference here:

There's an even nicer way to do things.
Use the Stylish" Addon for Firefox and select your prefered font and font-size and colors and...
Admittedly you need to know a thing or two about CSS but it let's you redesign quite a lot.

I've tried using stylish but cannot seem to get it to work. Even trying to force everything to a certain font using * doesn't do the trick. Any help would be appreciated.

It's extremely bad website design to force a font and it should always cascade down from specific to generic.

If you let Windows choose the visual effects or set it to adjust for performance, it may have disabled smooth fonts. That gives the same poor results you've posted.

I have no issues with the font, but I do have issues with the size of the text.

Technically, I could make the page larger, but that would also affect all the other sites I go to that don't have any issues.

Smooth edges of screen fonts option does not change anything for me. This is the only website with this problem.

Actually it would not, if in Windows you just press "ctrl +" text/images will be larger only in the tab you have open, not in other tabs on different sites.

Oh, weird I didn't see that in the notifications.

As the only thing that bothers me is the message font size my script is very brief:
