Potion names should be unique

Currently several potions have same name, e.g. Panacea of Health. Sometimes i see troll sales in guild stores, where people sell weak stuff with same price as tripots. I think they should be changed so that they are clearly distinguishable.
- plain potions are Panacea of X
- potions with two buffs are Panacea of Enhanced X
- potions with three buffs are Panacea of Greater X

This is still an issue. would be great if it was corrected in upcoming patches.

I got fooled during shopping as well. Learned though, but still. TES has been very thorough on item naming in the series so far, and I'd like to see it'd still be kept that way with ESO, too.

Agree, and not only a different name, but a different Icon for crafted vs dropped would be nice, too.

Do you mean like, "sip", "dram" of in names?

    If you do, I disagree.

Those are pretty much the ESO equivalent to the metric system. Dexa, hexa, giga, etc, all indicate amount in metric. Sip of, Dram of, etc, does the same.

All you basically have to do is memorize what the values equate to. I'm in the medical field, do the metric daily. lol

It would be a good idea if crafted potions were at least green. Provisioning items that are crafted are green for the basic ones which have non-crafted equivalents. That would help with some of the fraudsters.

If tripots were purple, that would be helpful too. Awesome trade store could be used to filter out all of the basic potions then. .

No, not the sip, dram, panacea etc. That naming is clear and good. They are indicating the level of a potion.

What i mean is that you can make different potions which all have same name e.g. Panacea of Health. One version has just the health bonus and the other, the Tripot, has all three, but their name is exactly same "Panacea of Health".

It even confuses the game itself - my tripots are taken from me as Panacea of Health when I hand in writs.

It's also confusing that I can have a Detect, Immovable and Magica tripot with the same name as Immovable, Health and Stamina, which causes problems when I load them into quickslots (usually results in one replacing hte other rather than both appearing).

Wow. If it even confuses the game AI re such things as writs, then hopefully ZOS can review soon and give us a reasonable fix for this issue in an upcoming patch.

Yes, immovable, speed and invisibility potions also have many combinations from one to three buffs. We have simple invisibility potions using otherwise useless plants. Then there are versions using Namira's Rot, which is very hard to collect. Both have same name.
