If you guys get the "discoveries" addon it shows all the spawn points. For those who dont like doing it on their own lol.

my sense of adventure comes from flying blind :)
Its not an adventure if you know what is going to happen and where.

@OP I sorely miss this too. I use to sit and watch over the young girl in windhelm.
No idea why. You build attachments to some NPCs I guess. lol.
Perhaps it was the stone cold floor in a stone cold place.

I'm good with them putting in a way to give them gold if they also put in a way to kick them.

Some very fun and nice ideas here. My hope is that some of them will be incorporated to the game once we get (god knows when....) the Thieves Guild in game :)

But those people in the cities need it pretty bad! They are so pitiful. I did find a random beggar in the wild, though, and helped him out. :)

There are a few random encounters in the wild that will give you achievements if you complete them in all zones: giving gold to one of the random beggars is one of those encounters.

Others include intimidating a merchant to steal from them, lighting a fire for a couple of people too incompetent to do it themselves, and talking to M'aiq.

Just a quick note. M'aiq spawns out in the wild. The campfires (Lightbringer), merchants (Crime Pays), and beggars (Give to the Poor), share their spawn nodes, and are always alongside roads in the zone.

The merchants will appear standing next to a horse. As opposed to the ones walking the roads. Also, when intimidating them, the achievement doesn't tick until you actually collect the contents of their backpack. Simply intimidating and running off doesn't get you paid.
All very true, and good to note. There are 2 different spots in each zone where M'aiq can spawn (at least I think there are only 2 in each zone), and they are usually places that are isolated, and with no obvious reason to go there, but often with an interesting view.

I know M'aiq only has two spawn points on Betnik and Bal Foyen. I think he's only got two on Kanarthi, but I could be wrong about that. The norm actually seems to be three spawn locations, and I think the A'likir has four. (Though, two of those are very close together, and could just be faulty reporting.) Also, Bleakrock and Stros M'kai have none.

There's a couple M'aiq spawns that are remarkably close to places you're likely to go. Particularly if you're working on the pathfinder achievements. Grahtwood and Greenshade can both drop him directly in your path as you're questing. Also, some of the others are fairly close to civilization, like the spawn point outside Daggerfall, but are still easy to miss.
