Bug in EB questline?

Today I was playing on my v1 Aldmeri Dominion NB. I was going to try to go through Cadwell Silver, but when I had completed Zeren in Peril and talked to Darj the Hunter I was not given the next quest. It should be Warning Davon's Watch. I ran to Davon's Watch to see if the quest would pop, but nothing. I probably spent an hour running around trying to figure out how to get the quest. I am almost sure it is bugged. Can anyone else confirm?

how long has it been since you did a run through on ep cuz every play-through i find certain quests either removed or replaced with others

I ran through there on my AD character a couple of weeks ago and don't recall a problem, though at the back of my mind I have a vague memory of not getting this 'now go there' quest because I'd missed something else, but I could easily be wrong, certainly I did get the quest.

Did you go to Davon's Watch to see if you can pick up the quest chain there even though you've not got the 'go there' for it?

@Kragorn yes I did. I ran all around Davon's Watch and found nothing. The city is fine, but I'm pretty sure it is supposed to be under attack when I arrive there. This is kind of disappointing because the quest is a prerequisite to many others that I need for Cadwell.

Ah, so the Watch isn't under attack? That isn't good, I agree. The quest you're missing IIRC takes you to meet an NPC on the south side of the town on the road as you approach from Bal Foyen.

Sorry I can't be any help, I did run through there as I said on the character I just finished Cadwell's with but of course that was before 1.6. Bal Foyen's not a big place so it'd be hard to miss a quest if you've searched the place.

I think you're going to have to open a ticket and hope that you can get some help there.

This happened to me today on Xbox One. Completed my quest, got my item (lightening staff i think) and no follow up. If i go to the docks, there are a few dead npcs but Rana and other named ones are alive. Nothing about going to Davon's Watch. Should i just go on, or is losing this quest chain going to screw me in the future?

Unfortunately I still have not been able to fix this. I continued on as far as I could (the next zones worked), but we will never be able to complete Cadwell's Silver and move to Gold. I even transferred from pc to this. I have been stuck since March 6 on that character (obviously frustrated). I have contacted support multiple times, but I keep getting these replies that seem so computer generated. Mostly they have told him to completely log out and log back in 5 min later (doesn't work). Or "we are working on a patch that should fix all of your problems" (hasn't worked so far). If ANYONE can figure out a way to fix this plz plz plz tell me

Is there that guy in Davon's Watch that keeps saying "We need an edge in this fight!". He is standing by the Enchanter Shop. Talk to him, that will get things going for Davon's Watch

No there is not. To my understanding Davon's Watch should be under attack but the phase I keep entering is after it is saved. Another little strange thing I found was that when I stand halfway between the tunnel going into Davon's Watch I can see the black arrow on my minimal pointing to where i should be getting a quest, but if I move at all it disappears

I just completed this zone Friday for Silver.

I did not have an issue here though... I think in order to start this quest I had to go to the encampment in the lava area S.W. of Davon's Watch, which sent me back up to Davon's Watch. It was weird.

I would, if I were you , drop all Stonefall quests, and pick them up 1-by-1 until the first quest in the Caldwell's Almenac is lit-up. Then just do the main quests.

Would that I could. I hard already gone through trying to complete all of them. Each one sent me back to the previous spot until I arrived at Davon's Watch, but still the quest was not given. I have all of the Stonefalls quests lit up white in Cadwell's Almenac as if I have started the quests but have not completed them. I do not have any quests for Stonefalls in my journal.

If you've already picked up that quest from Holgunn you wont get that follow up quest. Either that or try the Argonian Captain on the boat at the Foyen docks.

It should be Holgunn that gives it to me, but he will not. He simply congratulates me on the battle blah blah blah. I go down to the docks and everyone is dead as they should be. However, it lets me talk to some of the dead people there. Very strange and definitely bugged. I have spent so much time on it if there was a way to fix it on my end I think I would have. I'm glad I am not the only one @Dontthinkson ... I think Zeni needs to step in and fix this but there is no way to get them to listen to me through tickets

You can do the quest in Davons Watch before ever stepping foot on the starter islands. If you did the quest where you save Davons Watch before going to Bleakrock/Bal Foyen, you won't get the Warning Davons Watch quest. Might you have done the Davons Watch quest at some point a while back and forgot about it?

Yeah just talk to Holgunn. You're not missing anything, it's just a breadcrumb quest to send you to Davons Watch.
It's not part of the Cadwell's Almanac and there are plenty of quest to fill the Stonefalls Quest achievement.

This seems like a logical cause of the issue. You can check whether you've done this quest on your map: hover over the black Davon's Watch icon, if it says Stop the Covenant invasion of Davon's Watch. you have already done Legacy of the Ancestors, and need to do Delaying the Daggers and/or City Under Siege.

Thank you all for the help! I finally got it. @Enodoc thank you personally. I had to enter House Indoril (which was completely empty) and when I left it the city was under siege like it had triggered the phase somehow. I went to Holgunn and it still did not show a quest on my mini map but I talked to him and it finally triggered the quests! Thank you all so much!
