@DeLindsay I wish they would say something. Honestly I dont see them addressing this because that 20% extra xp is gonna take care of the issues. Sadly not for those who refuse to pay a sub and refuse to buy them. 10% from subbing and 10% more from the xp pots. I honestly think that is their intentions. I wish for it to not be true, but its the elephant in the room right now.
+20% XP gain might help PvP folks and Dungeon/Trial/Arena/Questing PvE folks but it won't even scratch the surface of the XP disparity for the rest of ESO, Legerdemain, Crafting, Farming, Roleplaying, etc. ZoS themselves on many occasions over the past 2-3 months have said they want XP gain to be relatively the same across the board, at least that's the excuse they were using for continually nerfing Grinding and the "increased XP" that 1.6 supposedly brought to PvP and Dungeons.

If that's truly the case then 1.6 CP XP Balance = EPIC FAIL......

20% is not gonna cut it. Besides it means also 20% more for mob grinders. The base XP reward needs to be increased drastically. Let's talk about 200-300%.

    /signed.

    Different activities should generate xp.
PvP xp should be based on the average, not the top end generation rate, and could easily have a DR in place if co could be generated too quickly by farming groups.
Questing should equal grinding xp rates.

CP imbalance is likely to become pronounced and bring all manner of problems. So maybe xp per cp should also change with the cp total (ie if you have 200 cp, then the next cp costs 20% more than if you had 0 cp total). Or the enlightenment system work more like rested (ie help those with limited time to catch up, rather than boost everyone for their first cp for the day).

The xp of mobs was nerfed because they were bringing in the champ system. You wont be selling many XP pots if you give people enough XP without them.

Only craglorn mobs, mobs from your 3rd Alliance ( area with vet 5 to 10 enemies ) still give big XP.

Sure, if by "big XP" you mean 310 per kill.

My v1 gets 430 per kill, and can get that XP in far more areas than my v14, who is restricted to the Gold5 zone.

PvP XP disparity is being addressed finally, you can read the thread HERE. Be sure to thank @ZOS_BrianWheeler for recognizing that PvP is one area where (for the VAST majority) XP gains were subpar to Grinding/PvE Questing. Now lets hope other Devs take the initiative and raise XP gains elsewhere in the game.

Progress #2, @ZOS_PaulSage just announced in THIS Thread that Trial XP is being increased. So now we have PvP and Trial XP getting increased. This is an excellent step in the right direction and lets hope it continues with other playstyles within ESO.

Patch notes 2.0.2 with the respective increases, a great start to fixing the XP Disparity.
    Alliance War
    General
    • Increased the XP received from killing other players by 50%.
    • Increased the XP provided by many of the less lucrative quests in Cyrodiil.
    • Reduced the XP received from some guards at the Scroll gates.
    • Increased the level of all monsters in Cyrodiil to VR12 so they provide more XP per kill.
    Dungeons & Group Combat
    Trials
    • Increased the XP received from defeating monsters in Trials by 1100%. Additionally, the XP received in Trials will now be more consistent among group members.

Now before you get too excited, +1100% isn't as much as it sounds because pre 2.0.2 the XP per trash mob in Trials (at least in AA/HR) gave less than 100 each and iirc some were as low as 47 XP. I'm still not going to complain that they buffed it, and I'm happy they're marching ESO in the right direction.
