• EU megaservers for maintenance – January 22, 9:00 UTC (4:00AM EST) - 14:00 UTC (9:00AM EST)

DST and the Live Server

This Sunday, the eastern time zone will "jump" ahead one hour. How will this affect the Megaserver? Feeding horses, research times, Fetcher timers etc are based on the server time. Will the Megaserver "jump" also?

    Unless the server is in Saskatchewan (hahahaha) or Arizona - it will likely also "jump" (ie you likely won't see a difference unless you are in Sask or AZ). I will just be hopelessly confused as I am twice a year every year because my tv shows aren't on at the right time anymore and I am an hour late/early for raids.

    I completely understand. Wouldn't mind if the rest of NA joined us too (though I sadly don't have the nice weather you do here in Sask).

    The server does not spring forward. It is too heavy...

    When we had DST before guild traders reset at 8am EST, and they currently reset at 7am.

    I expect them to switch back to 8am as of next week.
