Leeching Strikes Good Enough As Self Healing?

I am trying to make changes to my build after this 1.6 launch. I am not focused on Medium armor with many Nightblade skilled being converted to Stamina that I use. This makes me stack stamina, which is fine, but skilsl that use Magika are now healing less (strife) because they do less damage. I need a way to heal while in combat, and since stacking health regen is rather useless I am told, it seems my own real option is to use leeching strikes. This hardly does any heal though from what I can find out. Is it worth using Leeching strikes as the method of self healing?

No, Siphoning Strikes is still much better than Leaching. Look into Entropy, Rally (if you're 2h), Resto Staff, and, if you're high end Alliance Rank, Vigor.
