I'm not creating this thread so that it can turn into a bash fest. I just wanted to share my new feelings on the update.
I have around 70 hours played time on my main. He is a VR14 with close to 1300 achievement points. I have spent a ton of time in this game, making sure that I have everything complete, from all the quests, to all the challenges and trials. I am in an end-game guild and although I haven't been there for the wins myself, the guild has completed the hard mode for Sanctum, which is the only thing I am missing.
But who cares about hard mode when the gear is basically the same?
I could spend time fishing and finishing little achievements here and there, but it gets boring after a while. Kinda like the entire game for me right now.
Now with the update I have to start all over. I am being forced to grind so that my skills can be where they need to be again. What makes it worse is the fact that I am being forced to grind with absolutely zero new content. Nothing. And most likely it is going to be that way for a while. The grind wouldn't be bad if there was new content, but there isn't. I could be excited about all the new champion points, but I'm not because I have to grind in the same old content, over and over... and over... and over...
I am really disappointed. I had so much fun in this game. I've dealt with the bugs and broken quests and have been here since beta. I have seen people come and go. I am now seeing more people go. I am seeing large guilds disband because people are quitting. I log into the game and find a few people grinding and there is nothing else to do. If the focus would have been on new content, this would not be the case. I'm bummed out. I'm disappointed.
Please bring the fun gaming experience back to the players before it is too late. We need new content.

I have about 300 hours in the game since June of last year and I have no character that's even approached veteran status. The game is still a lot of fun for me.
Edit: in fact, I'm starting considering deleting all my toons and starting from scratch.

✭✭I agree we need new content introduced. New zones & the likes (talking solo content). They are coming, just going to take a while before seeing any implemented into the game.
I've been grinding my vr14 before the latest patch due to working on different crafting skills. I'll continue to do this.

✭✭I guess it depends on what you do in the game & how you play it... I've been here since early access, spend a huge amount of time here & have a few vet toons & one V14 that still has plenty to do... half of Gold, and quite a few achievments just on the V14.
I guess I stop & stare at the Riften sunset too often & get chatting to people a bit much rather then endlessly running around dungeons!
