Mount graphic (armor/bags/harness)

Since the change in how mounts work I'm confused with how the graphics are applied to mounts. I really hate the look of the saddlebags so I had spent points in such a way to avoid that look. I had a speed mount with only 20 points spent in capacity (I think 21 was required previously before graphic was applied). Now after the patch that character's horse has the speed graphic (harness) and the saddlebags. My other character has speed and 20 points in stamina and 20 points in capacity but that character's horse has the harness and armor with no saddlebags.

I'm assuming that only the first two categories can be applied or something but there seems to have been an adjustment downward in the number of points required to make a graphic visible. Can anyone shed some light on how the graphic is applied and if this can be selected/changed somehow? I need be rid of those hideous purses on the back of my 47k horse. =(

I'm curious with the way the new system works if you then go about updating speed on your riding ability, will your mount also show the harness graphics as well as the saddlebags? Personally, I only have one speed mount, so I've only ever put points into speed.

I'm curious to know the answer as well

A GM said that they are looking into making the effects a toggle.

Well, I can verify that two of them can be visible at once but it doesn't seem like 3 can. I just don't get how it decides which to show if it transferred over from pre-patch and I'm wondering if they changed the number of points spent before the graphic is shown because pre-patch my saddlebags weren't visible and now they are.

I had heard about the toggle as well but I thought that was supposed to be live with the changes in 1.6.

I have 20+ stam 20+ speed and 45+ bags.

I see no bags on my horse, only horse head armor and more straps on harness.

I actually like my bags being visible...but I can not see them

This is on the imperial horse.

Did you level up stamina and speed to 20 before getting bags to 20?

Did you level up stamina and speed to 20 before getting bags to 20?

No after, I had 20 bags way before, I only started leveling up 2 other horses with stam and speed around 20+ days ago when I found out about the horse changes being combined etc.

Interesting. That leads me to believe that the new system can only show 2 of the 3 and if you happened to have more than 20 points in all 3 it randomly selected 2 out of the 3 to display which is pretty lame!

Almost all my alts had max bags. I leveled up 2 more horses each up to stats over 30. All my horses appear to have the helm and straps.
