Healers : where did you spend you champion points ?

Hello guys,

I thought it could be interesting to start a healer thread about champion points. (this is were you can find the constellations : http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/150690/champion-system-comprehensive-chart-for-pve)


What I tried to do is focus on maximizing support and healing abilities for PVE and PVP (but I think it can only vary in the warrior tree, rest sounds ok for both activities).

WARRIOR :

STEED : (this is pvp spec)
Resistant : 12 points

LADY : (trying to improve light armor efficiency)
Light armor focus : 6 points

LORD : (this is pvp spec only for blazing shield)
Bastion : 6 points


THIEF : mostly reduction of cost of spells and magicka regen

TOWER :
Magician : 12 points

LOVER : (I will consider spending points in tenacity when I have more (restore more magicka on heavy attacks))
Arcanist : 11 points


MAGE : only heal and crit damage here for max healing

APPRENTICE : (I plan to spend all my points here)

Elfborn : 12 points
Blessed : 11 points

What do you think guys ? did you spend your points differently ?

Definitely with you on dumping in the Apprentice tree. I also chose blessed and elfborn, split about 50-50. Although the abilities have a similar effect on healing, diminishing returns favored splitting them out that way.

I'm at work so I don't remember for sure so I will list what I would do now. With the diminishing returns it's good to put 1 point in minor areas as you get the biggest boost from that first point.

Light Armor Focus 10 pts
Spell Shield 10 pts
Arcanist 10 pts
Magician 10 pts
Blessed 10 pts
Elfborn 10 pts
Tenacity at least 1 pt
Tumbling 1pt
various other 1 pt adds

Hi Guys,

are those fixed already. I put 10 points in Elfborn and i cannot recognize any changes. They must be broken at least some of those passives?

I think as long as Elfborn is broken for healing as of March 31, 2015 - I will be reallocating toward Blessed for healing at least until 30 points.

i must say that light armor focus & spell shield didn't help my sorc (vet 7), so i reseted CP & took bastion instead for improving shield/ward, also not feeling any help from elemental defender neither, i think almost the entire CP sys is broken, like ur heavy armor DK ur stronger then NB, take less dam i mean, no matter how much Medium Armor focus u take, when DK has 0 CP on any CP, & DK has nothing that makes him Tank (no skills), only heavy armor, dam taken also feels same as before with NB, that's why with sorc i went for bastion, hes no healer, but i mention this cause the topic is about CP & some1 mentioned 1 thing being broken with CP, hard to chose what to take if most things are no help, mostly deference cp skills as far as i have noticed

I would put some into Bastion as this will increase any shields you cast , because as a healer you really want the support skill from PvP Barrier

I'm not sure Bastion does any good for Blazing shield because it scales off your max health therefore is a set value. Just saying.

That said, my healer(although she's PvE-only atm) has points in Blessed, Elfborn, magicka regen/cost reduction(forget the name, reduce block cost and reduce rolldodge/breakfree cost(because when you have 9k stamina you have to spend it wisely, I'd imagine even moreso in PvP). Probably a few other unimportant things I forget, too

Incorrect, it scales off your max health so its not a set value.

With more points into Bastion and/or more max health your Blazing Shield will be bigger.
