Makes sense that most people would vote no to this, since it's such a new and drastic change.

I bet, in a month or so, a repoll would show most not caring.

Actually, I voted 'no' because big numbers aren't needed, as I see it ZOS did it in a cynical move to try to hide the horrible nerfs they inflicted on skills by changing the numbers in such a way it wasn't practical to try to compare before-and-after values.

We have to re-establish what's "good" and what's "bad" in terms of numbers. I'm not a numbers guy myself, I much prefer the smaller, more comparable numbers we had.

For example I have approx 13,800 stamina, is that good comparable to other players at VR12? I've no earthly idea.

I haven't decided yet. It's a change and I'll need to adapt to it. What's bugging me right now is that I don't really know if my new build is better or worse than before because of the new number system. But, live and learn and all that. I agree with Vandril, this won't be an issue for anyone in the long run.

In my head I'm removing the last digit already on every inflated number!

There really isnt a need for it.... yes these can be there in the background but when you are talking 30 thousand of whatever the odd 1 or 2 makes no difference.

At the same time its not game breaking... I can choose to ignore the last number (Though I have a suspicion somebody will come up with an addon to hide it soon enough!).

    Simple reason: Harder to process.

I find myself squinting at my damage meter to make sure it's 1142 damage and not 11412. At the same time it does not communicate additional information. 5% is 5%, no matter what the number scale is. Adding complexity without communicating additional information lowers usability.

I am wasting precious brain power and concentration, not much, but I do.

Big numbers are for a reason: improve champion passives values.

I voted no. They are harder to swallow as it is and I have to spend brainpower and time trying to figure out what the new "safe" minimum and maximum values are (in terms of how many attribute points can be justified in stat x y or z).

While the bigger numbers look impressive from an in-game PoV ("Oh hey, I just hit that guy with a crit for 10k!"), it makes it harder for some theory crafters to do their thing.

People keep talking about just removing the last digit, but weren't stats unevenly raised. Some are 5x and some are 7x right? It's not as straight forward as just removing a digit to get a comparable idea to the old numbers.
