Update 6. Does this mean that there is going to be a Thieves Guild main questline?

With the release of Update 6 and the Justice System, does this mean that there is going to be a Thieves Guild questline and skill tree? Should there be? Is it already in consideration/development? Does this mean the return of the Nightingales - Agents of Nocturnal? What do we all think?

Well.. originally Thieves Guild & DBH were going to be added at some point, but many many things change when a game goes F2P.. err sry, B2P until they milk the console folks THEN F2P... Don't expect too much more out of ESO content wise. I'd say they will at least get the Imperial City in but after that it's a roll of the dice.

I'm pretty sure Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood are still planned. The Outlaws Refuges look like the perfect places for their Guildhalls to be.

Here's the list of planned new content (some of which was put on hold while they were working on Update 6):

• Mephala's realm [currently unnamed]

I don't know what kind of Thieves Guild skill line they can create, Ledgermain is basically it.

I was thinking the same. Maybe a Thieves Guild skill line would be mostly Active Abilities instead.

Certainly a possibility, and a questline for the Thieves Guild that focuses on Nocturnal would be in line with the other Guild lines having focus on a Daedric Prince (Molag Bal and Sheogorath for the Fighters and Mages Guilds respectively). Such a skill line may be specialised enough that it doesn't require the same things that are already on the Legerdemain line.

I've been waiting since beta for the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood, even creating characters specifically for them. But since the announcement that ESO was going to become F2P, my hopes have waned. Generally, in my experience, when an MMO that was subscription based goes F2P it usually means that customer service and extra content become near non-existent =( I really hope that's not going to be the case with ESO, but time will tell, right? At least we got the justice system....

They could always add to the legerdemain line by adding some active abilities rather than making a new line.

I have been waiting since Beta too... So long wait to enjoy a game, Thieves guild and Dark brotherhood not beeing there at release is the only reason i never bought the game or became a subscriber. And i am pretty sure the same goes for you. neither of us wanted to come to tamriel to be heroes...
