Health, stamina and magica changes unfair

What's up with making all our characters more squishy by making health, stamina and magica less valuable?

Enemies now do more damage faster, our weapons don't do as much damage, and stamina and magica don't go as far. I thought this "upgrade" was supposed to make things more balanced, not less balanced.

I am not at all impressed Zenimax, not at all. The changes notably reduce playability. It's almost as if we should just delete all our characters and start over now.

There is a reasonable chance that Zemimax just lost two customers with the latest update if the balances are not restored. I'm for certain stopping my subscription as of now.

This your first mmo? Sorry to break it to ya but these kind of game changing updates happen in every mmo.

it happens to everyone, my team normally sails through Darkshade gold key, but had to leave a couple of times to switch things around, like my health attributes I had gone way to much into mana and not enough into health, and with grubal I think the name is on the boss having a aoe hit with 17.5k damage, that shows at least how high your health needs to be for sure.

I'm not sure where you're coming from on this. Given that you have a full attribute and skill reset, what benefit would deleting a character and starting over confer?

I haven't seen anyone else saying the changes have reduced playability. Did you merely respec to your original build or have you looked carefully into the viability of your choices before respeccing? What level characters are we talking about?

It would seem a tad premature to jump to an instant conclusion and QQ barely 24 hours (less on the EU server) after the update.

You will most likely have to switch your builds and armor sets around a bit. Some of the old builds just do not work anymore.

When you say game should have become more balanced now, what dissbalance are you referring to that according to you supposed to be addressed with the new patch? I am not sure i follow your logic and dissatisfaction to the extent that you are willing to stop playing the game?

Without the ability to add significantly more health to a character, we'll spend more time dying than playing. Now there aren't enough character points to go around.

What isn't clear is why you're dying more than you were before. What level are you? Have you respecced your skills, and if so did you just recreate your old build or look into it a bit more than that? Have you respecced your attributes? Have you reconsidered the glyphs on your gear in terms of putting more health there if you feel it's missing under your attributes? You understand that all the changed numbers like damage output are relative to each other the same as they were before, just that all the numbers are higher?

It sounds very much like you're missing something, somewhere, that is making things unnecessarily difficult for you, and only you. If you could provide more information they'd be no shortage of help I'm sure.

Ok, got some things figures out. Two of my favorite attacks were significantly changed, and my heavy armor seems weaker by about 20% or maybe even more. But, it's not as bad as I thought it would be. Still, overall, the changes mean some builds just won't work anymore, and after 200 plus hours of playing a character, we shouldn't have to relearn how to battle with them. We just shouldn't.

Thanks for the helpful replies in this thread.
