Health Regeneration Build Vampire Possible?

So, if I run a Nord with the crafting armor set Vampires kiss, add health regen glyphs, and put health regen in Champion System I should be able to not require any self heals on the skill bar I feel, being a stage 1 vampire can help negate the health regen issue while giving a skill that heals well in case of emergency.

Nord - Roboust - Increase health Recovery 30% while in combat

Vampires Kiss Set - Increase health Recovery

Healing - +25% Health Regen Champion System

2 Jewlery Glyphs Health Regeneration

Class NightBlade - Full Medium Armor 2H weapon

If I max out health regen at every turn, can I actually recover quickly like Vampires are know for? (outside of ESO vampires, lol). For a RP purpose I wanted my Vampire to feel like he is healing at an accelerated rate, not what ESO has them as lol. I would love to get rid of Strife as well and add in a skill more useful for damage, Mist Form + Good health regen could be a great thing lol.

If you stay at stage 1 & 2 you should be fine.

If you want health regeneration at Stage 4 though you're probably playing a build that is suboptimal. I think you'd be better off supplementing your health with other abilities/heals and fuel those heals with magicka/stamina. I know this is probably not what you wanted to hear.
    US/AD - Dodge Hopper - Vet Imperial Templar | US/AD - Goj-ei-Raj - Vet Argonian Nightblade
    US/AD - Arondonimo - Vet Altmer Sorcerer | US/AD - Azumarax - Vet Dunmer Dragon Knight
    US/AD - Barkan al-Sheharesh - Vet Redguard Dragon Knight | US/AD - Aelus Vortavoriil - Vet Altmer Templar
    US/AD - Shirari Qa'Dar - Vet Khajiit Nightblade | US/AD - Ndvari Mzunchvolenthumz - Vet Bosmer Nightblade
US/EP - Yngmar - Vet Nord Dragon Knight | US/EP - Reloth Ur Fyr - Vet Dunmer Sorcerer
    US/DC - Muiredeach - Vet Breton Sorcerer | US/DC - Nachtrabe - Vet Orc Nightblade
    EU/DC - Dragol gro-Unglak - Vet Orc Dragon Knight | EU/DC - Targan al-Barkan - Vet Redguard Templar
    EU/DC - Wuthmir - Vet Nord Sorcerer | EU/DC - Kosh Ragotoro - Vet Khajiit Nightblade
    <And plenty more>

I would stay at stage 1 vampire to get rid of some of the debuffs. The reason I am considering a build like this is because my build is stamina based, and the only heal I would have is Swallow Soul, which, with a stamina build, would hardly do any damage and thus heal much less than a magika build.

I would be running full medium armor, with 2 health and 5 stamina glyphs on the armor. With the bonus to health recovery from Nord, Champion system regen, two ring enchants for regen (one fire resist of course), and the Vampire's Kiss as the armor set I figured it would be possible to make a rapidly health regen build that requires no magika skills for healing. Right now, I am CC and dish out great damage, but my self healing is not great. With boss battle vampire drain is not usable, so it is even worse to fight a boss and have no real way to heal.

For a Stamina build in Medium armor, NB is by far the best choice for my character. 1.6 added MANY new changes to the NB, many of my skills that once required magika (ambush for example) no works off Stamina, which is great for me, but this makes on Swallow Soul my magika skill. No other skill on my character uses Magika...

A build that provides self regeneration of health would be great for a DPS stamina build like I have. With a Nord, I can get +30% regen, with Champion System I can get 25%, with Vampire's Kiss full set I get a good chunk, and with 2 glyphs I hope it would be enough to keep me alive.

I figure if things get close, I have Soul Tether heal as well as using Mist Form to reduce all damage and while in Mist Form I suspect I will still recover HP since it is not a healing spell or HoT that Ia m relying on to recover HP.

For stam build, go two-handed and stack Rally with Swallow Soul and you should have plenty of healing, stacking health regen is just to sub-optimal as a vamp. Then you can use your sets for defense based bonuses like knockbacks, heals, or damage shields!
Dinosaur Chicken Nuggets - Argonian mNB Tank/Heals (PVP)
Strawberry Semifreddo - Dunmer mSorc DPS // Sunny D-Light - Breton mTemp Heals
Peanut Butter Sandwich - Orc sDK DPS // Kellogg's Frosted Flakes - Argonian mWard Tank/Heals (PVE)

Health regen builds will never be "viable" in ESO, it's literally the most useless stat in the game. Even non-Vampires would never be able to get enough Health regen to even equal the constant Healing of Mutagen/Rapid Regen which will never keep you alive if that's the only Healing you have unless your build takes hardly any damage.

If it's strictly RP purposes then go for it. I don't see the harm. It's definitely a gimped build from just conceptualizing it but if you're having a blast with it then by all means go for it.

Let us know how it works out for you. :)

I never got to test it in the PTS as there was not a chance for me to try it out as a Vampire, but it was something I thought possible with the Nord racial and the Champion System. If it is really that bad of a stat then I see no point in starting a level 1 to try it, maybe one day they will offer a race change so I can switch my Dunmer to something else lol. After a while of playing a part of me wanted to swap to a Nord or Imperial, but restarting this game would be quite boring for me so I decided against it.

Look at it from another perspective. Lets say you could get your Health regen up to 2K (I don't think that's possible, but I'll use it as an example) that means you are receiving 2K health every 2 seconds, which is lower than Rapid Regen on a decent Healing build that doesn't stack +Healing done or Spell Damage. Now the other side of the coin to understand is that the Health regen debuff that Vampires have is a % of your total Health regen. The more you stack the harder it hits you, value wise. Another thing of note is the Passive Unnatural Resistance is still broken for some Players, like me, even though we've been reporting it since shortly after launch and ZoS has tried to fix it repeatedly.

You'll want to double-check this before you decide.

Health Recovery is weakened by attacks such as Lethal Arrow or Reverberating Bash which reduce the target's healing taken, so Mist Form may interfere with it as well.

I suppose my idea would not work as well as I expected lol. Glad i came on the forums to get some insight to the plan though, rather than starting a level 1 only to find at veteran ranks that it is not optimal let alone viable lol.

Thank You all for your help and responses, it is greatly appreciated!

Now to find an instant heal that goes with my Stamina build (no momentum though).

Vigor in Alliance War is great for Stamina builds, only issue is ZoS stuck it behind a 4-18 mo grind depending on how often you play and if you already have any Alliance Ranks.

I do not really PvP in this game. In World of Warcraft I loved the PvP, and did arenas everyday. With ESO it is horrible in my opinion. When i die it takes forever to get back to the fight, and it seems that unless you have heavy armor on or use a Sorcerer than you are going to get worked. I die WAY to quick to enjoy the PvP aspect of the game. On top of that, I play a Vampire for RP reasons, and with Fire all over in PvP from weapons and class skills (not to mention siege) it is just no fun for me to play in PvP. I wish it was different, I wanted to like the PvP but I have spent about an 3 hours total in PvP with this game and found it very unenjoyable. I do not expect to run in to PvP and win every fight, but the balance there is just not any good unless you have top gear and are VR14. I am only VR2 right now, and wont ever PvP again unless something changes.

There are no skills that do this for a Stamina Nightblade now. My build uses all Stamina skills after 1.6 so I have no effective way to heal while in combat.

    1 Question.

    Why?

Did you not read the thread? Lol

All the Nightblade skills that offer any healing while in combat are now magika based... I need to heal while fighting, it does not help to have HoK morphs while fighting a boss or PvP consider the effect does not happen until after the enemy is dead. I need a way to HEAL while in combat lol. Only option so far is Leeching Strikes but that hardly does anything.
