So, as the big yellow announcement at the top of the page says, Update 6 comes out "this week". So, what day do you think its going to hit? Tuesday or Thursday?

    I would rather it be Wednesday or Thursday, just because I want to get my template to V1, but that's just me.

    the only reason I care is cause I want to know what day to keep the pc on while at work, new at water cooling and a bit paranoid about leaving it on while not at home lol

    This is wrong, FYI. Everywhere on earth uses the same measure for "a week": "the period of seven days generally reckoned from and to midnight on Saturday night.", i.e Sunday-Saturday.

    The only "format" which uses Monday-Sunday as a "week" is the "Work Week" format, often used in business products such as Microsoft Office/Outlook.

    Most Calendars have Sunday as the first day of the week.

    Maintenance? There has been no message that the normal Monday maintenance will happen or not. So I think the patch could still be Monday.

    To make this more interesting someone could give a vr10 purple recipe or something to the player that guesses the right day with the closest amount of down time for the patch.

    true, but when they do maintenance on mondays, they normaly say here on the forums, we are/are not doing it on monday, not it just says "next week" so probably not monday, or it would say so, and they said in eso live that they were aming for tues/wed

    So i am hoping for a Monday drop but probably not till later this week...

    A couple posters are correct Sunday is in fact the first day of the week. (Not getting religious what follows is historic mythology only)

    Think creation account. God made the world in 6 days on the seventh he rested, in Judaism the sabbath has been and always will be Saturday the reason the western world confuses this now is because good 'ol JC was resurrected by someone who happened to have a Soul Stone ;) the day after the Sabbath.

    And also the creation of the work week was a byproduct of the above stated.
