I'm seeing some really good video footage listed over in the community creations section. Very diverse and interesting stuff. I think the limitations of time mean that it is harder to highlight ESO films and video fooatge in the community creations section of ESO Live in a normal show - bearing in mind most videos are about 5 mins long at least.

Maybe an ESO live special sometime? Hand out trophies in the shape of guars - call them Golden Guars maybe. The presenters have to wear cocktail dresses and make bad jokes etc.

Might encourage more filmmaking in the community? That can only be a good thing for getting ESO out there on youtube and into the public mind generally.

All you need is OSB (free) and windows movie maker (free) and a good idea. That's all I have! Well I'm out of good ideas right now ....

Anyone any thoughts? If anyone also has any questions about how I do what I do feel free to ask - though mostly I just hit stuff and things happen.

I like the idea but I'm not sure there's enough content out there to justify an award show type thing... but maybe in wrong! Encouraging the community would be a good thing. I hope they release a machinima camera in the crown store. More than rewards, tools like instanced locations, would encourage content to be created.

Yeah I tend to shoot on the PTS when it is up - nice and quiet

For me the one thing that would help greatly would be an emote toolbar so I could trigger a few chosen emotes while the UI is hidden. You could do that in LOTRO - bind emotes to your toolbar. So so useful.
