Nerfing batswarn for pvp

i know alot are going to shout but i think bat swarm needs to be nerfed, simple reason is at the mo you find groups running around killing loads of people, that to me is not the problem good on them, what the problem is it can take some up to fifteen people to take them down, no other skill gives you the buffs this does, if its not nerfed than other skills should be raised to combat this

    I think they should put a hard cap on Ultimate Cost Reduction because I'm tired of seeing people spamming banners and bats. Maybe if Ultimates weren't so damned cheap for DK's and Sorcs that are geared JUUUUST right, ZOS would never have had to nerf Vampire 3 times in rapid succession.

    Or if they are so intent on nerfing vampires, increase the cost of Bat Swarm to 400 Ultimate and just watch all the people run out of Cyrodiil to get Vampire cured.

    Please please please stop asking for nerfs, every time they nerf something for PvP it breaks something in PvE so when they fix PvE they break PvP again. it's a vicious cycle that will never end until they game is a mere shadow of i's former self.

    Lol, I've been hit for more from fire staff heavy attacks than I normally get from bats. Unless you conveniently stand in them for full duration. But even so, fire ring could probably pull the same numbers, not that I ever tested that out. Sure it's rather easy to stay in perma swarm if you have the right build for it, but I don't see how nerfing an ulti into uselessness is gonna help anyone. And as mentioned above, ulti gain method is getting a revamp anyway so why don't you wait for 1.6 and see how it all works out?

    Vamps have been nerfed to the ground. Form a strategy instead of just running into AOEs.

    Damn what will please you, this makes several nerfs as is. Would you prefer a single bat flying around as it drops bat guano on players heads dealing 1 damage, or is that too over powered? And if you have an issue with getting killed with bat swarm, pvp better.

    ok.. first off, a NB using BatSwarm in PVP can now just cast and switch to AOE bar with Soul Harvest.. and then any players who die will give additional ULT...

    Soul Harvest Switching will become a powerful NB tool in 1.6..

    Do not underestimate the power of bat guano, toxoplasmosis is a real killer.

    To the OP, 1.6 is an overhaul of the game. Let's give that a little time to play out before we start asking for balance fixes. Some will probably needed, but it won't be apparent for a few days, possibly a few weeks.

    What, you don't like a mobile ultimate that gives the caster health regeneration at the same time (or invisibility)?

    Seriously though, yeah, it may seem a bit strong, but with all the changes it's probably best to wait and see how it plays out before we worry about how strong it is or isn't.

    You could also try out the morph of circle of protection that fears undead - (unless that changed in 1.6?).

    Can't remember the last time i died of batswarm. It is weak.

    Morph 1:
    "Oh noes, the caster is invisible".
    No he is not. You can still see his batswarm. Just spam AoE attacks

    Morph 2
    "Oh noes, the caster heals himself".
    The more people stand next to him, yes the better heals he gets. Spread out and don't feed him. Also you can still see him and use ranged attacks. Fire, silver, anything.

    It used to be OP. But it's now to a point one might call it to weak.

    As i said i can't remember last time i died of it. Nowadays it is the PvE suits which spawn meteors what's killing me.

    Slaughterfish are a joke... I've gotten onto the Bravil island and avoided the fishies, and I've gotten across the river by Drakelowe, and I've gotten into the Imperial City... It's just a matter of luck, retreating maneuvers, and having a horse that likes to spawn on the other side of invisible walls. I just have to revive this list of yours.

    FYI - There is no such thing as 'night capping' in a world wide MMO.
    FYI - There was no paid Beta. When they launched the game the Beta was over, even if you don't think it was.
    FYI - It's B2P not F2P. There is a difference.
    FYI - It doesn't take any player skill to mash keys or buttons in this game. The ones that stay alive longer have the better internet connection and speed.
    FYI - The game is not broken, it still works. It just has 'bugs' that need to be fixed.
