So, will the min-maxers all drop WW in 1.6?

Now that you no longer get the 15% regen in human form, and you have to have the WW ultimate on your active bar to get ANY of the passives, will all the min-maxers be dropping the skill tree?

Not that I am one to care what the min-maxers do, but I have really been hoping they do something to show WW some love. I know these changes are just fixing unintended bugs, but it feels like a nerf, it IS a nerf nonetheless.

I personally think WW form should be a toggle you can turn on any time, and stay as long as you want. The ultimate should be something else entirely, something more uber than a still too-short duration shift that requires you to stay on a killing rampage just to add a little more time.

That said, at least the change to only take additional poison damage when shifted is a plus.

Still, I think I will be adding another vampire to my character roster.

No, the +15% is still there on PTS, unless you psychically know something the rest of us don't.

I just logged in and checked. The only change is that Blood Rage now prolongs your duration instead of generating ultimate.

On live Blood Rage generates additional ultimate every time you're hit in combat, if you have your werewolf transform socketed. If you don't none of your passives do anything, and you only get the +15% stamina regen.

I suspect the change was for two reasons. One because on live you can't wolf out and remain a wolf for combat against stronger enemies because the transform will expire before the fight is over. Also, on live, you can theoretically use the werewolf transform and blood rage to accelerate ultimate gain, then switch over to the other ultimate. Though I don't know of an exploit that used this specific mechanic.

Anyway, on the whole, wolves actually feel beefier on PTS. So, I'm not sure what you're talking about.

I can't find anything official but the community of streamers I asked on Twitch verified that the 15% stam regen in human form is gone.

Edit: As well as the Ultimate generation is gone.

I just tested it on PTS a few minutes ago and Werewolf still gives the 15% stamina recovery in human form. They are likely misinformed.

Well, batting 500 there. Ultimate generation IS gone, since the passive that granted that now extends your wolf timer.

If the 15% boost to regen is gone, they've got a pretty funny way of showing that.

I just rolled up a templar on PTS, before spending ANYTHING, or putting on any gear, my recovery stats are MR 514, HR 309, SR 591...

Not sure if that's 15%, but it looks about right.

The stamina regeneration is still here. If it's ever removed in human form and as long as the poison weakness only applies to wolf form, there's no reason to drop it.

Yup, I actually did a /bug report about that tooltip as well as receive being spelled recieve back in beta. I even wrote a note explaining how it's i before e accept after c....

As far as i am aware, they do not proc at all this way, but i did not personally test this.

The fastest and easiest way to check would be to equip expert hunter and find an enemy werewolf in human form. I know that NPC werewolves in human form do not (usually) show up under expert hunter vision, and are not affected by things like silver bolts' knockdown though. So I doubt it applies to players.

You don't need 15% stam regen when your stam is allways high 8)

I am drooping WW. I had it because the ultimate regen with the hide set was excellent but now only 15% stam regen as a human passive wont be enough for me to continue with WW

I currently slot the WW ultimate on my NB tank's main bar, then slot VoB on my resto staff off-bar. Helped a lot with ult-generation as a tank that otherwise can't generate good ultimate in prolonged boss fights. I never saw this as an exploit, especially since I could only slot 1 actually useful Ultimate which I had to switch bars/weapons to use. Seemed like an acceptable trade-off to me.

Will definitely keep WW for the stam regen in 1.6 though.

I would also like to know. When 1.6 notes hit someone said that we now get fighters guild procs and poison damage while in human form however I have seen nothing official on this. It would be really good to know because it's just not worth the poison damage, and improved fighters guild damage you would take just for some regen.

Pack Leader tooltip (on PTS) says that other Werewolves remain transformed a while longer for each Heavy attack that they perform.

I have played with ww on pts and live, so I thought I would hopefully clear up anyone's confusion as there seems to be some.

On live right now:
Ww gives passive 15% stamina regen regardless of the transform being slotted.
Ww receives an additional 50% damage from poison attacks while in ww form.
Blood rage passive gives ultimate gain as you are hit, in human form with the ult slotted.
ALL of the ww passives not listed above, ONLY apply to werewolf form.

On pts right now:
Everything listed above, Is the exact same. The ONLY changes made on pts from the above stated, is the ultimate gain.
The poison damage taken was also lowered by 10%.
Hop on pts and live, and go check each tooltip. They are very clear even with their typos.

As far as min-maxing, IMO, 15% of 500 is 75, assuming it stacks additively, something such as 30% from green dragon blood or the new bosmer passive stacking with that 15% can give you high amounts of Stam regen. (IDC that the previous sentence had 3-4 commas in it ) I think it boils down to whether you think it would benefit you more.

In reference to someone commenting about using the ult slot to gain ult, you can now gain ultimate from blocking. Oh and weaving a light attack in is not hard. You can light attack, and cancel the animation with block, in less than half a second assuming you have low ping. You can also light attack and cancel with dodge roll, assuming you have to roll away from something.

Again, just chiming in with my 2 cents. This is my experience with all that I talked about. I don't have a v14 char, nor am I min-maxing, but that's my take on it.

Hope it helps clear any confusion as well as contribute to the topic.
