Question about ESO unlimited pc/ps4

So my gf has seen an interest in eso just from me playing on the pc and I told her that there will be a release for the console version and maybe we should get a console so we could play together....However I'm having a hard time figuring out if its two player or not. Also if we could play together me on my pc and her on the console? If not that would mean I would have to buy another tv and another console just to play together? nty....Anyone know the facts about this?

ESO is not cross-platform. You'd both need to be on PC or the same console (would need 2 consoles to play at the same time).

Sounds like the perfect opportunity to build a second PC

Yeah, console co-op not possible and cross platform not possible.

Maybe build 2nd pc and get ps4 or xbox controller for it and attach the pc to tv and you'll have the console feel for your gf but on a pc.

They are going to implement Gamepad support with Console Launch. ( at least they said they would )

So your gf can play on PC using a Gamepad and "probably" with better performance and graphics.

Why does she hate it? Due to controls? They already said that PC would get the console's UI/gamepad support some time after the console release. It's also possible to use gamepads right now, although you'll need third party mapping tools.

The game already feels too much like a console port with the clunky console-like menus and UI and they are going to make even MORE console-like? How will that work? Wish there were was an option to make the UI like a decent PC UI. This was a major issue for me in Skyrim aswell. Had to mod it to hell to make it playable in the first place.
They should have this UI for controllers and a normal mouse/keyboard friendly windowed UI for normal play...

Hey! I like the UI! It's distinctly Elder Scrolls. They always had different UIs compared to other RPGs.

A distinct characteristic of recent Elder Scrolls games is that their UI sucks. I'm not talking about neat minimalistic HUD (although it doesn't work as well in an MMO as it does in a single player game), but rather things like inventory or skill menu.
