Do my crowns and purchased items come with me if I switch megaservers?
For PC and Mac players able to play on either the North America or European megaservers, crowns carry over from one server to the other. However, all items purchased via the Crown Store are only available on the server where they were purchased. For example, if you buy a pet on the North American megaserver, it will only be available when playing on the North American megaserver. If you want the pet to be available when playing on the European megaserver, you will need to purchase that pet on the European server. Console players are automatically assigned to the megaserver in their respective home territory and are not able to switch. [Emphasis added]

I found the above question and answer in the support section. Is the highlighted section right? Are console players being automatically assigned to a regional megaserver? I game with people in NA but I assume that living in Australia I'm going to be assigned to the EU. Do we know how many regions are being used, where those regions are and what countries fall within them?
I'm also currently on the NA server for PC so will I be transferred to the NA regional server on console?
Any clarification or confirmation able to be provided @ZOS_GinaBruno or @ZOS_JessicaFolsom on this point?

I hope so but given PlayStation's linking Australia to Europe for blueray and PS games I'm worried that ZOS will be forced to by Sony for PS anyway. Hopefully some clarification can be provided by ZOS.PUG Life - the true test of your skill
