Hello,

I was wondering if anyone who recently downloaded the game can answer this question.

Is there any more data I will have to download past the 27 GB initially? I have downloaded 20 GB already (7 GB to go) and I am getting impatient so I want to know if the 7 GB is all I will have to download?

    As long as ZOS have kept their initial download up to date there should be no more, there hasn't been a patch for some time, but I've not downloaded 'cold' for a long time so can't be at all sure there isn't more.

    You're in for another several Gb one though next week when Update 6 lands, not sure how big it is, I've seen mention of 12Gb but can't verify that.

    12 GB update? Damn thats alot. Is it possible to download this before hand so I can go up and running when the update hits

    If you're talking about the download from the in-game launcher (if you're not using the Steam version, but a version from the Zenimax website), then you should be good to go - 7GB is all that you have to download, including updates.

    However, it obviously doesn't include upcoming Update 6, and you can't preload it now. Haven't heard about the estimated size for it, so can't tell.

    My current PTS folder is 41.6 GB, my Live folder is 36.5 GB.
    Semi retired from the trading aspects of the game.

    I thought the PTS to 1.6 patch was 6 gigs, but it's been awhile, so I could be seriously mistaken.

    This is what I have as well as of the last update.
