"Ghost players" Does this mean anything?

I have this guy in my guild who seems to be a ghost,

No faction marker, no last known location, no rank and no class marker.

He also always seems to just have been on between 1 minute to an hour when I come online.

Is this a bug or has something happened to his account? does anyone know why this is happening?

I have no idea. We had one of those in our guild as well. I sent him a mail and then removed him from the guild. He never replied to the mail. I thought maybe a bot of some sort? Still don't know though.

It is a bug and you need to submit a bug for it. I have seen this happen before in my guild's roster, two different guilds. Sometimes the only thing that would clear it is to kick the player then re-invite, though occasionally having them log off and restart the game would clear it. In our case, it seemed to happen if the person in question had been in a party and then logged off for an extended period of time, without leaving the party before leaving the game that day.
