Q: Will stats stack on multiple horses from same character in 1.6?

If I have 2 horses on 1 toon where I put 10 points into stamina on 1 horse and 20 on the other, Will I get 30 points on my stamina riding skill since I spent 30 overall ? Or will only the highest stat carry over? So in this example I would get 20? Trying to figure out if I should continue buying horses and putting the gold into stats before the release of 1.6.

It depends on your horse + upgrades so if your horses are identical them you would get whatever the highest horse was.

So in one example:

Horse base stamina 10% + 20 levels into stamina = 30% buff
Horse base stamina 10% + 10 levels into stamina = 20% buff

If you had these two horses your character would have 30% buff in stamina after conversion.

Alternatly if you had the following two horses:

Horse base stamina 20% + 10 levels in stamina = 30% buff
Horse base stamina 10% + 15 levels in stamina = 25% buff

Then your character would receive 30% buff in stamina after conversion.

My understanding is what was said above. They will convert the highest in each category but they will not stack. So doing bag space on multiple horses is not the right way. Doing a different stat on three horses would be the way to go.

I think it does... So if I have a horse where I put 40 points to speed and 10 to stamina... If I bought a 1 gold white horse and put 7 gold to speed over this week before they theoretically release 1.6 I might still be able to get up to 47 on speed buff... Yes? in which case it'd be worthwhile ( I'm already working on alt horses for stam and bags)

No.

They take the highest stat in each area and apply that to your riding skill, so:

Horse A: 40% Speed, 10% Stamina, 0 Carry
Horse B: 30% Speed, 15% Stamina, 20 Carry
Riding Skill in 1.6: 40% Speed, 15% Stamina, 20 Carry

1.6 is just going to take the highest value you have in each category. They won't stack. You won't get +150 bag space because you have 3 horses with +50 carrying capacity.

Ahhh that make sense. I only became aware a week or so ago about the benefit of leveling a horse with each stat. If they move up the release date from the initial late March date, I may not have time to reap the benefit. Thanks for all the feedback!

It was never going to be late march. The system kicks over when 1.6 goes live, which was supposed to be this morning, but it's been delayed until the 2nd, apparently.

Unless I have one horse with 75% Speed (25% base) - 50 points then it would be 50 speed, 30/30 on Stam/Carry

Why are folks suggesting getting 3 horses now then and leveling them all at the same time to earn 3x points? No value if the highest is what is being added.

The recommendation was to get three imperial horses (or the palomino if you have it) and raising capacity on one, speed on one, and stamina on the last.

The only thing I can say is that when I am on the PTS and bring up the screen there is a limit of 60 in each category. Since I can bring each of them up them it leads me to believe that I can have skills with my horse/mount that are 60 speed, 60 bag, and 60 stamina eventually.
When I bought a horse it started at zero in each category. I purchased the speed horse to test it and it was zero in speed there was no bump at all.

This is something I can't figure out either. I got max speed on one char but when I hop on my alt on 1.6 his horse is slow. Isn't it suppose to be the same horse?

I never saw anywhere that they said ACCOUNT WIDE horse. It is character based.

The horse is account wide (what it looks like) the speed etc is now an SKILL per toon.

So your alt is using the same pretty horse, but does not have a good riding skill

I have two toons transfers to TEST
Toon one had
a 75 speed horse (brown), (11 stamina, 1 carry)
a 50 carry horse (white), (16 speed, 11 stamina)
a 50 stamina horse (white) (15 speed, 1 carry)

Toon two had
a 65 speed horse (black, 21 stamina, 1 carry)
a 50 carry horse (white), (16 speed, 11 stamina)
a 15 stamina horse (white) (15 speed, 0 carry) (I have not maxed this horse)

So I ended up with account wide, a brown horse, black horse and a white horse

Toon one started with a riding skill of 60 speed, 50 carry and 50 stamina
Toon two started with a riding skill of 60 speed, 50 carry and 15 stamina

I am hoping the max speed of 60 is a bug and they increase the cap to 75 to match the best horse speed currently on live

The horses are nothing but skins in 1.6. It will be the individual characters Riding Skill that determines speed/stam/carry.
