Eidetic Memory (missing ones)

Greetings,

I want to finish all Eidetic Memory (atm are 2284), like a pseudo-achievement.
After a quick observation (making an plan to finish the remain, using the ESO Head as guide for the locations of the missing ones), i notice some of them are impossible to reach / obtain (because they are in special locations).

Example / Question:

Main Quest: "Castle of the Worm"
In the "The Five Companions" book family (2 books are in the final area of the quest)---> "How long before the echoes fade?" and "Record taxation for year end."

Since i complete (without reading them) some time ago the main quest, how i will get the books (and others in similiar situations)? Is possible (or will be in future) to revive / repeat the ended quests or something like that?

Since i have almost all achievements, the Eidetic Memory (beside lore books) is very critical to achieve the perfection

That's what happens if you just follow datamined trails.

The books you mention were indeed missable at the beginning, but they can now be found outside the quest locations once you've finished those. For example, most Fighers Guild halls will have a few books on their banks, shelves, etc. that were usually found during the Fighters Guild quest line.

Anchorite Log, and Taxation are bugged. You can interact with the ones outside the Harborage, but it causes them to vanish without being able to read them or add them to your memory.

Also, at least for one of my characters, A Plea for Relief is bugged, and can't be added to Eidetic Memory.

Indeed. They are outside of Harborage. They vanish when readed (tried several, relog, diferents Harborage). Shame they are bugged, but at least they exist (good thing)

Now is to wait until patch fix this.

@starkerealm , same for me. I kept waiting for something Epic to happen - Main Story part II or some such...

I actually reported this as a bug to CS and was told that those books are actually not even supposed to be there.

Short version, they're not really sure why they appear/disappear.

Okay... I don't understand. @Muadyb Howw do you use ESOHEAD to complete the eidetic memory? I have no option to toggle pins on / off for notes.

The website esohead has nowhere near all locations for all the notes, so I wonder how you are going to find all 2284.

I actually created a new character to make sure i never miss reading everything so that i can complete my library but decided to wait till 1.6 as many of the areas and solo dungeons have been changed somehow in PTS. Would be nice to replay them...but will probably get bored skipping the dialogue since they are not new material. Something to do till the 1st DLC though.

Hopefully they will fix the bugs of the Eidetic Memory, expand its features and implement housing so that we can have bookshelves that fills up with books as you gather them to complete the achievment.

There is no achievement for completing it though.

Patting yourself on the back is much more satisfying than having the game pat you on the back.







It's probably not an Achievement because it would almost impossible to achieve it as I have found some books in quest locked locations that i had missed on previous visits with other characters.

Not Addon, Manualon

In EsoHead: Exploration (tab) / Books / "Choose your collection" / "Select your book, note, etc"

In base of your missing memory (collection / books, notes, etc -> names), you can have a ideia of their location in base of esohead (google the locations can help in this matter).

Since i never full test this method (dont know they all exist or not), but in theorie is good point to start. Waiting for the 1.6 or prior fix patch.
